I mentioned yesterday how I compared Krispy creme’s Vampie to the Glazed Raspberry. Well for all you who doesn’t know what a Glazed Raspberry is, I have got one for you.
Krispy Kreme - Glazed Raspberry
”You’ll feel ever so jammy eating your way through one of our Glazed Raspberry doughnuts. Bursting with sweet raspberry, you’ll notice everyone licking their lips as they watch enviously. But don’t you go worrying about them; keep an eye on that filling as it can be ever so cheeky!”
So this is the Glazed Raspberry. It’s a beautifully round donut that essentially is the making of an Original Glazed. This donut is round, light and airy and it has the sweet glaze on top. The donut itself is so fluffy and then you hit the centre. It really is bursting full of raspberry jam. So red and sweet and fruity. The filling oozes out of the donut and all over my face. Shame Vampie wasn’t like this. There wasn’t hardly any filling compared to this one. Not even half the amount. So glad I had two of these in my dozen. They definitely made up for the lack of raspberries.
This one is a classic on Krispy Kreme’s menu. An original sweet donut that surrounds the most delicious fruity filling. I don’t know why Krispy Kreme didn’t just stick to this for Halloween and draw on a Vampie. This one is the best as far as raspberry goes. I just love it! One of the best and I hope it stays around forever.
