Another donut for you from Krispy Kreme’s 2020 Halloween donuts. It’s another chocolate ring one. Today is Wolfie.

Wolfe Werewolf is who I have today. Another chocolate ring from Krispy Kreme. Fingers crossed this one better than the Spooky Sprinkles. This donut at a glance does look like it is going to be very chocolatey. It has the standard Original Glazed ring as the base with chocolate icing on top and thick piped chocolate frosting on top with a fondant face. I had to be really careful handling this one in the box I had bought. The lid could quite have easily ruined the piped frosting as it wasn’t hard. It was squidgy. Thankfully I had more than one of these in the box. So back to the donut. I’m pleased to say this is 100 times better than the Spooky Sprinkles. It actually tasted really chocolatey. Just what I wanted! I would even go as far to say the icing on top of the donut was different to the one on Spooky Sprinkles. It just had flavour. The Thick piped frosting on top was really good. It was quite rich in all for a ringed donut, but one I really enjoyed! Thank God I had two of these and only one Spooky Sprinkles.
This donut is a must for those of you who love chocolate. Chocolate all the way with this one. I really like the werewolf look with how they decorated this donut. Really should keep Spooky Sprinkles off the menu and maybe do a white chocolate Woflie too? Yeah this one was very nice.
