I browse and browse the online music swamp to find something pleasing to my ears. Do you think I can find anything? Absolutely! There has never been as much music as there is now.
Well, I wouldn’t talk about quality. The musical expression is very diverse and we are not all the same. Musical taste is just a personal choice and is not usually discussed. But I like to share something I like with others, especially in a community that loves music. This week I listened to mostly young, not-so-famous bands attracted to psychedelia.

Munchmen – Together
New band from Zagreb, Croatia with its first recorded piece. A mixture of stoner and psychedelic rock. It sounds like they are still very young and that they put in a lot of effort in the song ...

Fiddlehead - Million Times
The band Fiddlehead comes from Boston, and their sound is a combination of post-hardcore and indie rock. They released their debut album in 2018, and this year in May they'll release their second, "Between The Richness", which features this single.

Billy Clubs - Dope
Fresh youngsters, from Italy, with hardcore and punk influence, mixed with doom stoner, grunge and rock'n'roll. Their time is yet to come. Check.

Mrave brojim - Stanica
Band Mrave Brojim (Engl. I count ants) from Rijeka, Croatia, with this piece announces their debut album "Land of the Stone Bison". The sound is modern, very experimental but the end product is a combination of minimalistic percussion and a wide range of psychedelic sound streams of other instruments and vocals.

Wurld Series - Supplication
Wurld Series, an indie rock band from New Zealand comes from town Christchurch which is dedicated to DIY music ethos. They flirt with sad psychedelics, which can also be traced in the first recordings of Pink Floyd when the guitar was played by Syd Barret. Well, that attracted me to listen to them.

The RVMES - Big Bam Boom
Another fresh and new band from New Zealand, The RVMES (say The Rooms) collect and harvest musical from psychedelic rock, gypsy jazz to the soul and pure rock in the end.

John Hiatt with The Jerry Douglas Band - Mississippi Phone Booth
John Hiatt and other, outstanding musicians present us very smooth, deep, pure, and rare blues and bluegrass mood. Yes, that's not psychedelic as other pieces posted today but is somewhere here.

Pink Floyd - Astronomy Domine
This performance is from the TV show Tienerklanken in Brussels on 18 February 1968. Remixed and re-edited with digitized sound, which is top-notch at the Floyds anyway. I saw this clip for the first time, but I’m posting it because I like it and for comparison to the new-psychedelia bands above. No comment.
