What's up? How self-isolation going? Due to the Worldometers #covid19 info, the epidemic in Europe is slowly, really very slowly, subsiding but spreading in the USA now.

Gold
The origin brewery for this beer is unknown! It's the first time that I can't find the info anywhere, on the can is signed "from EU" and that's all. Well, it's brewed for the Tuš, Slovenian food store chain, maybe I can speculate, it's brewed in Slovenian brewery - Union or Laško - but it's just a speculation...can, 0.5 l, alcohol 4.3% ABV.
Light yellow color, the foam disappears very quickly. The first sip ... it seems like beer, very little bitterness, no malt taste ... watery, fuzzy taste, light years away from "premium quality" as it says on the can. But, it's cheap, € 0.65 a can.
Best Bräu
Brewed by Castello di Udine Spa, Italy, for Eurospin food store chain. Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.0% ABV.
Light yellow color, the foam disappears quickly, the first sip is bitter, the hops and malt are felt and ... nothing more up to the last sip. Pale, fizzy, watery. Far from the pilsener as it says on the can. But it is, of course, cheap :)
I expected more from the second one, because I tasted Best Bräu Premium Red and it was not bad. But, it's hard to expect for beers brewed for food store chains will be extraordinary. So, as one old saying goes - beggars can't be choosers ...
