Hello beer tasters!
Beer tasting time again! Summer is coming to an end, autumn is approaching but cold beer is still an option. This time, I found an interesting beer called as a pistol used by the Germans in World War I and World War II. Let's get to the details.
Luger Lager
The beer is brewed by Tektonik, Ljubljana, one of the most popular Slovenian craft breweries. Bottle, 0.5 l, 4.8% ABV. It's a lager that doesn't lie, they said.
Golden color, white foam smaller than average. In the first sip, the standard bitterness of the lager, well balanced by the sweetness of the malt, some spices aromas in the background. Bitterness stays long in the last sip, very smooth finish.
Due to the name, I was expecting something very strong and sharp with distinct flavors, but this Lager beer is exactly what it should be. Very drinkable.
I will definitely taste another Luger in the near future.
