Hello beer tasters!
Do you like wheat beer? Some love it, some don't. I am one of those who like it, but I don't drink it very often, there's no choice of wheat beers in us. However, if I am in Germany or Austria, wheat beer is a must-have :)
Benediktiner Weissbier
Brewed and bottled in Licher Privatbrauerei, Hesse, Germany for Benediktiner Weißbrau GmbHg.
Can, 0.5 l, alcohol 5.4% ABV. I noticed it in Mercator store in Postojna, Slovenia and take one. Ok, let's taste.
Light brown color, lots of dense foam that doesn't go away so quickly. First sip very smooth with aromas of wheat, cereals and citrus. The bitterness is not felt, maybe very little, even in the end, sweet flavors prevail.
Very drinkable and refreshing beer. As I mentioned, I don't drink wheat beer often, but this one is very good, it deserves a place in my fridge.
