Riptide Operation - Week 11: Water, Water, Everywhere [Let's Play Games #26]

The Week 11 of Riptide Operation is called Water, Water, Everywhere so what we should be expecting from CS:GO is to get some tasks related to water, right?

Pretty close. But we will still surf four different game modes along with the 4 tasks that are brought in this week for the total number of 9 stars to be rewarded.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive’s Operation Riptide is slowly getting to the final stretch since there are only 5 more weeks until the beautiful dream will be over, but completing all the missions of this week will take you to the total number of 70 stars which I'm sure you will have a lot of fun spending in the shop with skins, stickers, agents, patches and more.

Since there's not too much left to be said but actually jump into the missions and complete them, it's time to take a look over the full list of tasks the Week 11: Water, Water, Everywhere is bringing, as well as how to earn the 9x stars as rewards:

  1. Competitive - Short Match - Overpass: where you have to win an entire match OR get 21 winning rounds from separate matches [★★★]
  2. Guardian - Basalt - Glacial Lake: being needed to kill 20 bots with MP9 weapon [★★]
  3. Deathmatch - Group Delta - Geothermal Springs: where you are required to use the Healtshot 5 times in a single match OR 12 times in more matches [★★]
  4. Retakes - Blast Fishing: you have to deal 100 grenade damage in a single match OR 250 grenade damage in multiple matches [★★]

As you might already got used with, I decided to begin the new journey by completing the missions with the 3rd one, namely Deathmatch - Group Delta - Geothermal Springs.

As I always say, there is no better way to warm up in this game other than playing some Deathmatch matches, and so it happens with the task that has to be completed because you will have to use the Healthshot 5 times in a single match or for 12 times in more matches. This basically involves to have a decent match and do kill at least 3 enemies every time you respawn because after every 3 enemies killed you will be rewarded with this Healthshot which is basically a syringe that will make your health be restored to 100%.

This might sound pretty familiar if you are playing either Call of Duty: Warzone or PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds because over there is called Medi Kit or something like that.

Since I play this mode pretty often before getting into competitive matches, I managed to complete it on a single map but if you find it hard to be done you can also find a place on the radar where to camp and wait for the enemies to come over. This is a safer way to complete it without fighting too much. You can complete the mission on any of the teams.

The next mission I completed was together with my boyfriend by playing the Guardian mode which was never missing so far in any of the weeks released in Operation Riptide.

As always, there is a team of 2 members that have to play against 5 bots and get 20 or 25 kills with a specific weapon or group of guns. This time we were required to use the MP9 which is a pretty good weapon if you are fighting close but which can become pretty tricky on the distance.

The best part is that the weapon is not too expensive so after the first round of pistols fight, you can already purchase it from the shop and get those kills coming!

Take care on the Armored Opponents that will come in the 4th and 5th waves though, because the MP9 is not dealing too much damage on the armour, so keep in mind that you can use the Zeus for that which will kill the enemy with just one shot.

Since I had some more friends online willing to play CS:GO competitive matches, I decided to have the one on the Overpass map as the next mission completed where we managed to have a full team created already and which is a strong squad because we always give info and go along pretty well, so completing the mission from the first try was not a problem for us. 😄

I actually do enjoy playing the Overpass map but since not too many of my friends are playing it, I get on this map just once in a while. Happy me we won the entire match from the first try and there wasn't needed to collect 21 rounds from separate matches again! Phew!

The 4th and last task I had to complete to get all the stars as rewards and mark one more week as completed, was Retakes - Blast Fishing that is requiring to either deal 100 damage with grenades in a single match or 250 damage collected from more matches played.

From what I noticed, it's a little bit easier if you join the CT team and throw these nades on the site where the bomb is planted by terrorists because is impossible not to find one there and get some damage while if you join the T side you can't be sure where the CTs are coming from.

You can also ask the other players to help you complete the mission faster because there are enough users who are still playing these missions and would be nice to help each other! 😃
