Here are some pictures I took in June on the other side of Casper Mountain. Such a beautiful place!
I'm tired this evening and cannot really think of a whole lot to say about any of these beautiful pictures. I just wanted to find something to share with you today.
@steemean will tell me that these will be good with Gaugan... maybe. I'll give it a try anyway. I might even try a fantasy picture with one of them - though they could be tricky...
These were taken after I realized that I'd missed the turn for Crimson Dawn... so, then I went back and took a bunch of pictures for my Solstice Walk at Crimson Dawn.
Cemetery at Crimson Dawn
A few lonely graves occupy the rise at Crimson Dawn. I could not find any real information about this small cemetery. I might have to see if there's any info at the museum. I did (today) submit these pictures to Find-a-Grave to add more pictures of the cemetery itself.
I haven't seen enough of these pioneer/frontier type cemeteries to know if this is a common structure for the graves. Obviously, the headstones are very modern - replacements for whatever had worn away before.
