Still Working On Moving Off-Grid

This year, my BFF put all his efforts into building us a house off-grid.

Here's the left side:

which will be the Woodstove, Living Room, My tiny Studio and the Bedroom...

This side will be the Kitchen, my Bff's office (with the hidden door out to the well-house), the Master bath and part of the Bedroom...

It is a tiny house- and it is underground, but there is also to be a mudroom with a 2nd floor bath as shown here, and underneath - not sure what this is to be:

It will be a bathroom upstairs with washer and dryer and shower for dog-mud-feet and shower for dirty-people and then there will be a hidden door pantry closet thing that hides entrance into the house. It sits next to the well-house and behind the camper.

In the last 2 months, BFF has gotten these materials from the Thriftstore, Craigslist FREE and Craigslist materials for sale - I think he has spent no more than $3045 so far: the hidden door pantry closet for $35 from Goodwill - solid wood, Tile flooring - free, 3 Shower Bases and 2 sets of glass shower stalls -, a granite vanity counter top with sink and faucets - FREE, a picture window for the upstairs bathroom - FREE; he got infloor heating half-price for the bedroom off Craigslist for $800 inluding the thermostate and underlayment, and pergo flooring which includes the insulating pads for $350... wood for the countertop and has learned how to do an epoxy pour countertop - white oak plywood at $50 per sheet for 5 sheets to build his own cabinets, a cast iron kitchen sink from our neighbor FREE, he found a guy on Craigslist who gets "used" appliances from houses that are being sold - since new buyers now expect brand new appliances - so he got a convection double oven and cooktop for about $150 and a free convection toaster oven from our neighbor, and a toilet for $80.

He plans to start wiring the "crawlspace", as we call it, during spring break - next week. Of course we also still have to do the plumbing and all that as well, but he wanted to get all the materials for the house now so when he starts building he will have everything already.

We have a few connex buildings for storage on the property. I will probably get my own connex building for "my stuff".

Here's what it looks and will look like from above...
