Introduction
Welcome back to Maledicturs Terra. This is a Chain Story between myself and @lex-zaiya, meaning that we each write the parts alternatively.

Part 29
Magna sank down to her knees. The weight of the thirst on her mind drowned out nearly all the ability she had to function. Yet she did not relinquish it immediately. She took a moment to let it flow through her.
She needed to feel what it was that her uncle was suffering. To understand it. To understand him. And the Curse.
"What are you doing girl?" Sebastian demanded. "You need to let go now! Give it back to be before it hurts you!"
Magna grimaced and gritted her teeth. "Not yet."
"What?"
"I said not yet." Magna took a moment to just breathe through the pressure. She was seeing the world around her in a reddish haze. "This was a short fight. Next time I might have to take it on for longer. Besides... I needed to see what it was like..."
Sebastian was silent as he stared down at her.
Magna was out of breath. Her head swam but she looked at Sebastian and grinned through her gritted teeth. She took the plunge and pulled one leg up and pushed with all her might. At the same time her murderlust shot up exponentially, threatening to undo her control of her body and just lunge for Sebastian and rip at his throat with her hands.
Then the spark ignited. There was murderlust but it would not be challenged by this new source of wildness. It demanded her sole attention. It burned away the strange sensations of thist and sickness and it was replaced with a searing animosity of all those outside herself.
She rightened herself and stood. It felt different now, but also her skin felt as though it was on fire... but also good.
When she opened her eyes she was not completely surprised to be face to face with her twin brother.
"You need to let go." He said.
"I can manage the Curse now." She said confidently.
"Not that. You need to let go of what you are using in order to manage the Curse." He said slowly. "You know what I mean. You've tapped in. He is going to notice you if you carry on."
Despite the feeling of fire, her brother's words chilled her. She let go of the fire within and instantly the Curse crashed down around her ears like a tidal wave. She sank down again. Dimly, she heard her uncle yelling at her. She touched the bracelet and let go of the bond. The pressure was gone.
She could hear and feel and see again. The King of Clarpratia was grimacing and grunting a bit, but then stood tall a moment later. "Thank you. I have never been free of the curse since I was cursed. It was sweet to feel it gone. I also hated it when it came back. Thus it has given me even more reason to seek out a cure!"
"I am envious," Trix stated.
Adrian turned and faced the mysterious warrior. He shrugged.
Trix sighed. "I... am... unsure."
Adrian shrugged again. "Take your time. I am not going anywhere."
Adrian and Magna looked around and saw that Mortis and Adiran were still gathered around Temolach.
"I guess we need to find out what happens now." Magna said.
Adrian said nothing. Too many thoughts and possibilities were going through his head. He had his suspicions but he would keep them to himself in the meantime.
