Suelo ser una persona bastante planificada (a veces hasta en exceso) y es por eso que cuando comencé a crear contenido en Hive tuve que buscar una manera de planificarme para poder incluir la creación de contenido dentro de mi rutina diaria. Una de las formas que tengo para planificarme es anotar en una agenda absolutamente todas las ideas que se me vienen a la mente y en función de eso hacer una “programación” de publicaciones y así sé cuál día en específico debo de preparar una receta para compartirla en mi Blog o cuando debo de comenzar a editar un vídeo. Lo cierto es que hace un par de días estuve revisando mi agenda y ¡vaya sorpresa la que me llevé! había pasado completamente por alto una publicación en la cual @ambarvegas me había tomado en cuenta para dar mi opinión al respecto.
Esta invitación la recibí hace ¡DOS MESES! ¿Pueden creerlo? Al parecer fui muy despistada, pero bueno…creo que nunca es tarde para hacer las cosas, ¿cierto?
I tend to be a pretty planned person (sometimes even too much) and that's why when I started creating content in Hive I had to find a way to plan myself to be able to include content creation in my daily routine. I received this invitation TWO MONTHS ago, can you believe it? Apparently I was very absent-minded, but hey...I guess it's never too late to do things, right?

Me atrevo a decir que una pregunta que invade con frecuencia a los nuevos usuarios de la plataforma es: ¿qué tipo de contenido puedo compartir? Plantearse esta pregunta es algo completamente normal y, para serles sincera, en un comienzo yo me realicé esta pregunta un millón de veces. Cuando comencé en mi Blog me dedicaba única y exclusivamente a escribir relatos de misterio pues esto era algo que realmente me gustaba, también compartía algunas fotografías de mi autoría acompañadas de una historia interesante. Prácticamente en sólo estos dos tópicos es que se basaba mi contenido.
Por otra parte, siempre veía las publicaciones de otros usuarios cuyo maquetado era impecable, provocaba leer mil veces la misma publicación pues tenía un gran encanto visual y era ahí donde me preguntaba: ¿podré yo en algún momento realizar un publicación así de agradable? y la verdad es que sí…sí pude, sólo que me tomó cierto tiempo aprender algunas cosas y encontrar mi propia “marca personal”, algo con lo que yo realmente me sintiera a gusto.

Cuando la plataforma comenzó a expandirse y a evolucionar me di cuenta de que yo también tenía que evolucionar a la par con ella. Las comunidades surgieron y con ellas surgieron también un sinfín de tópicos que los usuarios podían adoptar en su Blog y aquí es donde hago mención de una de las formas que tenemos para innovar: escribir publicaciones sobre los temas que manejemos mejor y que más nos agraden.
Siempre he pensado que no es muy buena idea encasillarse en un solo tema o publicar desde una misma comunidad, porque lo cierto es que la plataforma es sumamente amplia y nos invita, de cierta manera, a explotar nuestra creatividad. En mi caso particular, mi Blog no es del todo variado pero tampoco está enfocado 100% a un solo tema en particular, yo diría que un 50% de éste está completamente dedicado a la comida, recetas saludables y ese tipo de cosas y el otro 50% se divide en temas que me agradan como por ejemplo: reseñas de películas y series, fotografía, arte, música, relatos personales y también participaciones en iniciativas y concursos interesantes.
Hay quienes no les agrada mucho esto de la variedad en su Blog, pero a mí esta fórmula me ha resultado bastante bien pues siento que al escribir publicaciones de diversos temas que realmente me apasionen y con los que me sienta cómoda le da un aire más fresco y menos monótono a mi Blog.

I have always thought that it is not a good idea to be pigeonholed in a single topic or publish from the same community, because the truth is that the platform is extremely broad and invites us, in a way, to exploit our creativity. In my particular case, my Blog is not completely varied but it is not 100% focused on a single topic in particular, I would say that 50% of it is completely dedicated to food, healthy recipes and that kind of stuff and the other 50% is divided into topics that I like such as: reviews of movies and series, photography, art, music, personal stories and also participations in interesting initiatives and contests.
Some people don't like this variety in their Blog, but this formula has worked out quite well for me because I feel that by writing posts on different topics that I am really passionate about and with which I feel comfortable, it gives a fresher and less monotonous air to my Blog.

Por otra parte, crear contenido para un Blog no sólo consiste en escribir líneas o textos largos interesantes o creativos…no. El diseño que le demos a nuestras publicaciones también influye bastante y considero que esta es otra de las maneras que tenemos a nuestro alcance para innovar y crecer dentro de la plataforma. Siempre he pensado que una buena fotografía propia marca la diferencia y habla por sí sola. En lo personal, no suelo emplear fotografías sacadas de Internet que sean libres de derechos de autor a menos que la situación realmente lo amerite, siempre prefiero emplear mis propias fotografías o diseñar imágenes atractivas con algún programa de edición.
Y esto último es importante, en la web existen muchos programas de edición gratuitos que son realmente estupendos y fáciles de usar, sólo debemos dedicar un poco de tiempo para aprender a manejarlos y simplemente dejar volar nuestra creatividad.

En ocasiones, puede que queramos modificar un poco nuestra forma de hacer las cosas o simplemente realizar un cambio radical en nuestro Blog, pero lo cierto es que nos sentimos estancados y nuestras ideas simplemente no fluyen, es por eso que en situaciones como estas considero que es importante buscar una fuente de inspiración. Podemos tomar como modelo a seguir a algún otro blogger cuyo contenido nos agrade o incluso podemos visitar páginas web como Pinterest para dar con una buena dosis de inspiración.
Con esto no me refiero a que copiemos contenido ajeno, ¡NO! Más bien me refiero a que podemos inspirarnos en ellos, tomar ciertos elementos y modificarlos, probar con ellos hasta dar con nuestro propio estilo. Creo que la clave de todo está en ir probando con herramientas y estilos diferentes hasta lograr dar con algo que nos agrade y se adapte realmente a nosotros y nuestra forma de ser.
