contest rules are very simple. For this week, the contest topic centered on Blog and Blogging using #Blog.
Life is better when we're in collaboration with others and that's what @clixmoney is pushing using the #DCooperation community on hive. And if you enjoy content creation and if you enjoy reading the works of others, and you are new into blogging and trying to find your way around, which I see lots of new people on different blog sites with little knowledge of what blogging is which is made manifest in some poor contents and even going about plagiarizing just because they don't understand what blog and blogging is. This brings us to what the question what is a #blog.
What is a blog?
According to @dictionary.com , A blog is a website containing a writer's or group of writers' own personal experience, Ideas, opinion observations, images and videos including links of other websites.
NOTE; A blog is the short form for Web Log.
The process of writing a blog is known as Blogging.
Blogging comes with merits and demerits.
On the Merits side,
- Blog which is updated daily helps the blogger to be abreast with current trend in different contents created by others.
- Blogging gives one opportunity to work at ones own time.
- Blogging improves one's capacity, language and writing skills as he learns daily and by reading from others.
- Blogging creates a channel for income. Tens of thousands of bloggers make mouth watering dollars on blog.
Demerits of blogging.
- Blogging could be a hard task. Creating a quality content which could attract followers isn't an easy task. Making it time taking.
- Spamming is not uncommon in the comment section and bad words sometimes are common not minding the feeling of the content creator.
- It's not a job for inconsistent people. It requires daily update . Inconsistency is one major factor which makes new users to quit on time.
- It reduces social interaction.
Having shared a little about what blogging is not forgetting that this is a tag contest, I would love to promote someone whose work keeps me reflecting on a lot of areas his works talks about real life experiences and he's a person who understands what life is and is a happy person and he is @tarazkp and I want to talk a bit about his work A Piece of Happiness in this post he narrated that to him it's work first before everything else

One day, I won't have to worry about any of this shit nonsense and can do what I want for money, instead of what I must. At least, that is what the dreamer in me keeps saying. But according to my recent psychological profile, I am still skeptical enough that I don't let the dreams control me completely - I don't make the assumption that they will come true, I don't bet on the miracle. This means that work comes first in so many instances, including my own health.
