About a week ago I was doing Smoke Photography. The @qurator team had launched a contest and I was encouraged to participate even though I had only tried this technique once in my life. You can see the post with my participation in the contest by clicking here
That day I took several photos, decided which ones I would use for the contest and I had a couple of photos left that I couldn't discard. I needed to do something with them because I thought they had potential. Today I would like to share those photos with you.
Hace una semana apróximadamente estuve haciendo Fotografía de Humo. El equipo de @qurator había lanzado un concurso y me animé a participar aunque sólo había probado esta técnica una vez en mi vida. Puedes ver el post con mi participación en el concurso pinchando aquí.
Ese día hice varias fotos, decidí cuáles utilizaría para el concurso y me quedaron un par de fotos que no podía descartar. Necesitaba hacer algo con ellas porque creía que tenían potencial. Hoy me gustaría compartir esas fotos con ustedes.
I made two styles of editings, one with the colors in negative and the other by simply manipulating the tone curve so that the smoke went from gray to green. So here is a set of three photos with white background and the rest with the original background color which is black. In addition to this, using the mirror filter I was able to give each photo a more psychedelic style.
Hice dos estilos de edición, uno con los colores en negativo y el otro simplemente manipulando la curva de tono para que el humo pasara de gris a verde. Así que aquí hay un conjunto de tres fotos con fondo blanco y el resto con el color de fondo original que es negro. Además de esto, usando el filtro espejo pude darle a cada foto un estilo más psicodélico.
The shape of the smoke in the following photo reminded me a lot of the movie "Alien vs Predator". In this photo I only edited the tone curve. After thinking all day in which community I should upload my post I decided to do it in the "Alien Art Hive" community because although it is a photographic post I think the style fits with this community.
La forma del humo en la siguiente foto me recordó mucho a la película "Alien vs Predator". En esta foto sólo he editado la curva de tono. Después de pensar todo el día en qué comunidad debía subir mi post decidí hacerlo en la comunidad "Alien Art Hive" porque aunque es un post fotográfico creo que el estilo encaja con esta comunidad.

To edit these photos I have used two mobile apps, Snapseed and Picsart. All the work is done from my phone as I don't have a computer at the moment. However, I like the result and I hope you do too.
Para editar estas fotos he utilizado dos aplicaciones de móvil, Snapseed y Picsart. Todo el trabajo lo hago desde mi teléfono ya que no tengo ordenador en este momento. Sin embargo, me gusta mucho el resultado y espero que a ti también.
