This is my entry for this week's mission. When I read what this week's theme was, I didn't hesitate about wanting to partake in it. Smoke photography is quite challenging and I love challenges, so I got to work and the photos I share below are the result. To get a dense smoke I used an extinguished piece of cardboard. I had incense sticks at home but the smoke it gives off is very thin and I was looking for thicker billows.

Esta es mi entrada para la misión de esta semana. Cuando leí cuál era el tema de esta semana, no dudé en querer participar en él. La fotografía de humo es todo un reto y me encantan los retos, así que me puse manos a la obra y las fotos que comparto a continuación son el resultado. Para conseguir un humo denso utilicé un trozo de cartón apagado. Tenía barritas de incienso en casa pero el humo que desprende es muy fino y yo buscaba olas más gruesas.

I got the smoke color by manipulating the tones curve in a photo editor. I share in this post a comparative picture with the before and after editing. For this, I used the Snapseed app.

El color del humo lo conseguí manipulando la curva de tonos en un editor de fotos. Comparto en este post una foto comparativa con el antes y el después de la edición. Para ello, utilicé la aplicación Snapseed.

@adamlaberenjena helped me a lot by holding the cardboard while I was shooting the photos.

@adamlaberenjena fue de gran ayuda al sostenerme el cartón mientras yo iba tomando las fotografías.

These photos were taken inside our apartment and although it was a fun experience, the whole house was full of smoke so we had to open doors and windows for quite a while. Lol

Estas fotos fueron hechas adentro de nuestro apartamento y a pesar de que fue una divertida experiencia la casa entera terminó llena de humo asi que tuvimos que abrir ventanas y puertas por un buen rato.
