Flair Ice Americano From Indonesia

nice to meet you all coffee lovers in this community. I am a coffee lover with the manual method because it does not require a large amount of electricity and can provide the best moments to family or closest friends.

you need to know that I am not a professional coffee maker, I am just a person who has an interest in coffee, from the taste, aroma, manufacturing process, to the creation of coffee beans.

Flair - Classic Espresso Maker..
.. completely manual, lever espresso press is capable of brewing between 6-9 BAR pressure and I've been using this manual espresso machine since last year. I have done various ways to make a cup of coffee, from preheating the chamber, pressing the lever gradually, to the method suggested in the manual, but the method in the video above is the method that in my opinion is the easiest and does not reduce the taste of the coffee beans.

Arabica - Ijen Red Cherry ..
.. comes from Situbondo, East Java. This coffee has an acidic character like red berries and has a light body. In my opinion, the combination of these flavors is perfect for summer and this is my choice in making Americano iced coffee.

Ingredients to make our delicious ice americano:

  • 160ml of ice cube
  • 55ml of hot water
  • 100 ml of cold water
  • 15g of arabica - medium size

Let's start by putting 15g of coffee beans into the chamber flair and pouring 55ml of hot water. Press the flair lever until the coffee drips and let it soak in the water for 30 seconds. after that press the flair lever until it runs out and produce 40 ml of espresso. Finally, prepare 160 ml of ice cube and 100 ml of cold water, then pour the espresso into it.

this is the best moment when I can see the espresso mixed with cold water, the color of the water really makes me calm and relaxed in facing the hot weather in my country.
