Esta es la Cuarta parte de mi visita a la Fundación Zoológico Santa Cruz. En esta ocasión compartiré las fotografías de todos los animales de granja y otros del Zoológico Santa Cruz. En este sitio velan por la seguridad y la salud de los animales rescatados del trafico ilegal de Fauna.

This is the fourth part of my visit to the Santa Cruz Zoo Foundation. This time I will share pictures of all the farm animals and others from the Santa Cruz Zoo. In this place they watch over the safety and health of the animals rescued from illegal wildlife trafficking.

Antes de comenzar compartiendo las fotografías me gustaría aclarar que no me agrada mucho el hecho que encierren en jaulas a animales que deberían estar libres. Aunque me tranquiliza saber que los animales que viven en el zoológico Santa Cruz se han salvado de un final peor.

El pato de collar es un ave migratoria de grandes distancias, forman grandes bandadas. El macho siempre tiene un físico llamativo, mientras que la hembra es de colores opacos y oscuros. Suelen habitar pantanos, lagunas, ríos, lagos y humedales. Se alimentan de raíces, peces, insectos y semillas.

El Chigüiro es el roedor mas grande del mundo. Tienen unas membranas entre los dedos que les permite nadar, Lo curioso es que pueden durar hasta 5 minutos sumergidos en el agua. Viven en zonas cerca del agua, en pantanos, ríos y riachuelos.
Su peso ronda los 30 y 70 Kg, su altura en promedio es de 60 Cm y su longitud es de 130 Cm aproximadamente. El chigüiro se alimenta de palmas, tubérculos, brotes y frutos.

El bisonte es uno de mis animales preferidos me parece muy tierno y me dan ganas de abrazarlo. El bisonte es el mamífero rumiante y terrestre mas grande de Norteamérica. Sus oídos y olfato son bien desarrollados y pueden alcanzar velocidades de hasta 65 Km/h.
Viven en praderas abiertas, tierras semiáridas, matorrales, valles de ríos, pardos y zonas montañosas. Se alimentan del pasto, ramas, musgo y hojas. Se peso esta entre 350 y 1000 Kg.

Las llamas son unos mamíferos domesticados inteligentes y expresivos. Son animales diurnos y terrestres. Están adaptados a vivir en las alturas incluso a 4000 metros sobre el nivel del mar, viven en tierras altas de los Andes y del altiplano del Perú.
Se alimentan de hojas, pasto y ramas. Su peso esta entre 100 y 140 Kg, su altura es de 120 Cm aproximadamente y su longitud llega a los 140 Cm.

Su peso esta entre 40 y 100 Kg, su altura de alrededor 60 Cm y su longitud de unos 180 Cm. Se alimentan de pasto y plantas.
Deer are nocturnal, crepuscular, shy and nervous mammals. They live in herds of about 15 individuals, inhabiting plains, dense forest, swamps, agricultural territory, bush areas and deserts.
Their weight is between 40 and 100 kg, their height is about 60 cm and their length is about 180 cm. They feed on grass and plants.

Entre estos animales habían cabras, camuros, pony y mini pigs. No cuento con datos de ellos ya que en el zoológico no había descripción.

Por ultimo me tome una selfie con mi novia hermosa, es un sitio donde pudimos tomar un descanso luego de la larga caminata.
