Stealing Elections

Yes, that's plural; it's not just the upcoming American elections that are under threat of being stolen, but a reoccurring problem within the American "democracy". Trump and his administration have been busy for months now casting doubts about the mail-in ballots, even said he doesn't think it's constitutional that votes are counted after election night...

This is of course bullshit; the election night is just a commercial entertainment spectacle invented for TV. Or does anyone actually believe that when the voting rights were included in the constitution it said that the votes must all be counted in one day? Letters took days, weeks sometimes, to arrive and the fastest mode of transportation was on horseback. Counting the votes state by state, assigning the winner to the states' electors (mostly little known men and women who will actually elect the president), resolving any controversy or contest within those states (via the Supreme Court if needed), all of that is a complex process that has a deadline on the Monday after the second Wednesday in December; that's 14 December in 2020.

There are set rules for mail-in ballots as well; there are a set number of days after election day they can be accepted and there are rules for when the processing (counting) of the ballots may start; this year more than any other year many people have voted before election day due to the pandemic, but in many states these ballots are not allowed to be processed more than one week before election day. And besides that, many states have deadlines for the receipt of mail-in ballots long after election day with California, a Democrat powerhouse, allowing ballots to come in until 17 days after 3 November, North Dakota and Washington don't even have a deadline as long as the ballot is stamped on or before election day... Here's a handy article from Pew Research Center on the entire process: Election night marks the end of one phase of campaign 2020 – and the start of another.

Trump and Brett Kavanaugh Telegraph Their Plan to Steal the Election: A Closer Look

This little intro was just to show how outrageous Trump's campaign against the mail-in ballots actually is; this amount of set rules, regulations and customs regarding the mail-in ballots is indicative of the fact that it's a normal thing that's been happening since forever. It's what Trump does best: spreading fear, unrest and doubt, spreading crazy conspiracy theories when it's beneficial to him, and him alone. Whether it's about wearing masks or mailing your vote, Trump has done anything in his power to show the American people he doesn't give a damn about them, or their democracy. Furthermore, the democracy in America is structured in a way that allows for stealing elections by default. The below linked video starts with a sentence that goes right to the heart of the matter: "In a democracy voters choose their politicians, but imagine if we told you that in the U.S. sometimes politicians pick voters..." In my lifetime I've seen this done by both parties but with a difference: Democrats screw voters during their own primary elections, and Republicans screw voters during the general elections. Twice in my lifetime have Republican presidents won without winning the popular vote by the process that's explained very well in this video. So please watch it carefully; 2020 is a census when the population is counted, the count on which all the vote-rigging is based every 10 years.
