Según historiadores la antigüedad de los disfraces de halloween puede remontarse a aproximadamente más de 2000 años atrás y se deduce que las Islas Britanicas, fueron pioneros en este tipo de celebraciones...

Además, se cuenta que mientras algunas personas ofrecían golosinas, otras usaban disfraces con cabezas de animales y sus pieles para que los espíritus los pudieran confundir...

Para el siglo XVII las tradiciones, supersticiones y atuendos fueron traídos a los Estados Unidos, donde estos habitantes adoptaron las creencias paganas de los Irlandeses y Escoceses

Todas esta festividad tenía un único propósito hacerle homenaje a la muerte dentro de un ambiente oscuro y aterrador... 😖
A través de atuendos terroríficos y mediante sabanas, mascaras fabricadas por ellos y maquillaje en tonos blancos y negros, disfrutaban de dicha celebración donde la parte llamativa es que nadie supiera quien eras y pasaras desapercibido por quien te conociera...

Es muy extenso el tema del origen del Halloween y donde está fundamentada su inicio,que involucra hasta las creencias religiosas, sin embargo, es evidente que al pasar los años las cosas han ido cambiado y hemos añadido nuevas prácticas a está celebración que hace honor a muerte, las brujas, calaveras, calabazas, fantasmas, gatos, hogueras, etc... Haciendo para algunos algo divertido y para otro algo prohibido o espeluznante
