Near to the Baron's High School (see my previous post #280), the artist's duo Lacey & Layla Art did during 2018 Mural Festival this superb mural :
Look Closely (on the right you can see a cool wheatpasted done by Lost Claws and in the door a simple but cool ghost by Nero)
I never have the possibility to take a good shot of this mural without any car in front as there is a pizza delivery. Finally this winter no one in front but some ugly graffiti had been added.
WHERE
On rue Clark, on the wall of Mexican restaurant Tacos et Tortas (good one), Montreal, Canada. And near on Rachel, very good Japanese restaurant Noren, worth a visit...

WHO
Lacey & Layla Art is an artist duo formed by Lacey Jane and Layla Folkmann. They met in 2007 in Edmonton during their art study at Grant MacEwan University. Then they finished their studies at Montreal at the Conncordia University.
Lacey & Layla worked always together on their murals. They have done about 60 all around the world (Honduras, France, Uganda...).
They worked with brush and acrylic paint on realistic portrait of real people because successful public art is done by building palpable relationships with local populations.
