Part 5 and the Epilogue of my book, Sapien Loop, have been published on my @captainhive account. This collection post contains all nineteen chapters from Part 5.
The chaos that had been brewing throughout the first four parts is finally unleashed. The systems were finally falling apart. Sapiens were turning on each other. Loyalties to their respective political persuasions were strong among most Sapiens. Many showed they were willing to kill or even die for what they believed in.
Some were fortunate or smart enough to leave the regions to temporarily take refuge in the Central Agriculture Zone. The Bramley family, Denise, David, and Hamlet, braved the wastelands to make the journey, and Orcille found his way in from the Downs Region.
The civil unrest was not the worst of the problems. The chaos had enabled the Sentray to come ashore and approach the Capital Region almost completely undetected. The civil unrest was the distraction they needed to launch a full attack on the Capital and beyond. Will the Sapiens be able to put their differences aside to fend off such an imposing enemy?
Sapien Loop - Part 5: The Battle for Sapia and Chapter 94: Survival of the Sentray
Part 5 begins by reintroducing the Sentray. Chapter 94 describes how the Sentray went from a virtually extinct species to one larger and more dominant than ever before.

It looked like the Business Sector had finally taken full control over Sapey. However, they were still not quite satisfied. They wanted to finish off the House of Divine Knowledge for good.

The representatives affiliated with the Business Sector may have made a disastrous mistake. Sapiens were not willing to accept their leadership if it was going to cost them their faith.

Civil unrest continues to get out of hand. The governors agree that they need the help of artificial intelligence. Collingswaggle and his team make their way to Cellrebrum to discuss the situation with Dr. Cortex and Jennifer.

Orcille arrives in Downs to acquire medical supplies and entry into the Central Agriculture Zone. The Bramley family, Denise, Hamlet, and David have also made their way to the agriculture zone. However, their presence has not gone unnoticed.

The enforcers in flying vehicle 12T make their way back to the fleet. What surprises do they bring?
Sapien Loop - Chapter 100: The Mighty Have Fallen
Pardi is working in his laboratory when he receives a surprise visit from someone with whom he is more familiar than he initially believed. Meanwhile, the Sentray have finally reached the Capital Region. Who will win this battle?

The battle in the Capital rages on. It appears there are no safe spaces, as even underground bunkers appear compromised. Rotiart finds Pardi’s helicopter and is attempting to escape.

This chapter flashes back to Lily’s visit to Jeed. It reveals how Jeed was developed and the dark intentions behind it.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 103: Familiar Faces
This chapter revisits our friend’s adventure in the Central Agriculture Zone. Despite recent tragedies, the group has grown closer together. A passing group of Sapiods sparked both Orcille’s and Denise’s interests. Could they have found a lost loved one?
Sapien Loop - Chapter 104: Unexpected Reunion
The Capital Region Enforcer fleet encounters problems as Jennifer takes over all of their vehicles. Our friends in the Central Agriculture Zone have an unexpected visitor.

Recent events continue to take their toll on Demarcus. He feels vulnerable and hurt. He believes he can no longer trust his own judgement. Luckily for him, he is surrounded by those who still care.

The Sentray have started to attack other regions. It is looking bad. The regions’ defences were never designed to defend against such a powerful external enemy.

The regions are falling rapidly. Dr. Cortex, Jennifer, and Vulay have limited resources left to defend Cellrebrum. Can they and the region survive?

Demarcus, Denise, Orcille, Darius, and Hamlet have pulled together to form a new multi-species family. They continue their pursuit of the group of Sapiods they previously encountered.

Pardi has recalled his helicopter. It is his only chance for escape. However, he needs to refuel it before he leaves. He is also distracted by the occupant of the helicopter. With the Sentray just outside, could this distraction prove fatal to him?
Sapien Loop - Chapter 110: Pain and Courage
Darius is split between two worlds. One where he is able to relieve his normal life and the other as a shell of himself. Unfortunately, his normal life only exists in his dreams, but these often turn into nightmares.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 111: AI vs. Hybrid
The events in Cellrebrum have caused Vulay’s chip to disconnect from her brain. Jennifer can no longer directly control her. Jennifer and Dr. Cortex need to decide if she is still worth keeping around.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 112: The Final Battle
The survivors have now gathered in Downs. The Sentray are approaching from both the east and the west. Their defences are limited. However, the locals have a plan.
Sapien Loop - Epilogue and Chapter 113: Steps towards the Future
In the aftermath of the collapse of Sapien society, the residents of the Downs Region need to move forward. Orcille appears to be able to organise and mobilise them.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 114: Righting Past Wrongs
Vulay and the enforcers have spent a couple of months travelling across the wastelands to different regions to gather resources and find survivors. Denise and Hamlet have been on a mission to rescue the remaining Sapes from the slaughterhouses. Orcille has been hard at work trying to find a cure.
Sapien Loop - Chapter 115: Where to Next?
Vulay and the enforcers go to the Capital Region. Is there anything worth saving? Denise visits one of the locations on the secret map. It appears she may have uncovered another mystery. The story ends, but there appears to be room for more adventure.
