Art Talk: Sunrise as abstract art

It has been quite awhile since my last Art Talk post. I will be starting with weekly posts again in October.

As I was editing these pictures of Lake McDonald at sunrise I thought it would be fun to do a post about them as abstract art.

According to Tate.org.uk

Abstract art is art that does not attempt to represent an accurate depiction of a visual reality but instead use shapes, colours, forms and gestural marks to achieve its effect

I love how these sunrise pictures are shapes and colors and forms!
