Lenin Moreno in Search of an Alibi

In a most shamefull statement so far, Ecuadorian president Lenin Moreno has said that his administration has received written assurances that the UK will not extradite Assange to any nation where he will face the death penalty…

Speaking during a radio interview on Thursday, he also said:

“I do not like the presence of Mr. Assange in the Ecuadorean embassy, but we have been respectful of his human rights and with that respect in mind we think that six years is too long for someone to remain nearly incarcerated in an embassy.”

Now, Moreno got his “written assurances” from the criminal UK Government, and he is ready to expedite him washing his hands like Pilatus: “There is a path for Mr. Assange to take the decision to exit into near freedom…”

“Near freedom” in “any nation where he will NOT face the death penalty” also means he could get life long incarceration in the US — which might be worse than death, since he will became a terrifying example to anyone who tries to reveal the atrocities of “the Empire”.

Moreno did not say that his country would force Assange out of the embassy, YET. But mounting pressure, including depriving him of food, are intended to make him walk out alone.

Chris Hedges and Joe Lauria, journalist and editor-in-chief, Consortium, with Julian’s mother Christine Assange, are explaining in detail the situation of Julian Assange, and possible outcome…

Julian Assange is actually the first victim of the rogue regime of the US “Empire”, that has declared its jurisdiction over the whole planet. The next victim is CFO of the Chinese telecom giant, Huawei, Ms. Meng Wanzhou, who was detained in Vancouver, Canada, but that is the story for tomorrow… today you need to remember…
