Upside Down House in Hollywood

Hi Guys!

While strolling Hollywood, we made a stop at a museum and checked out their upside down house. This kind of fun upside down house has been around for at least for a decade now, starting in Germany, where the house was built to appear to be upside down, including the interior of the house, like the furniture and whatnot are also attached and placed to be upside down.

The one that we went to is located in the heart of Hollywood, but only the interior that are upside down, while the building itself from the outside is not. Since it is a pop-up attraction, most likely that is the reason that it is not upside down from the outside, as it is not specifically "built" for it, but rather the people who managed the attraction, rent the building for it.

My youngest liked it much, he was so surprised when he realized everything was upside down as he walked into the building. Kept saying, "whaaaat?", "whyyyyyy?" lol Needless to say, no matter what we tried to explain, he did not get the idea, until he saw the pictures we took rotated to upside down, then he would say "oooooh, like that" hahaha

This so called pop-up museum offers two kind of attractions, of upside down house and house of illusion, which you would have to pay entry fee for each, but you can go to both of the attractions, for sure with doubled fee obviously. They also offer VIP package, which we were not allowed to get since we purchased tickets for both attractions. It was just a bit confusing the way they tried to explain it, so we did not get the VIP, but I will be sharing more of this in a separate blog instead.

If I can be honest, go to the upside down house only, much better than the illusion side, as pictures would turn up much funner (is that even a word? lol) :P

Okay, okay, MORE fun, I mean :P

Do you have this kind of pop-up attraction a.k.a museum as they called it, where you reside? Or perhaps you have been to one? Did you enjoy it? It is also a little steep in price (oops! I said it, lol)?

I believe we have one in Vancouver, B.C, but one that no one can enter as it is only for display. So yeah, even it was rather expensive for basically less than 5-8 mins to be spent inside, it was a fun and enjoyable time with the family as you can see from our pics lol

I absolutely like this following. They way it turned up looks pretty good as if the boys really were upside down. One thing I did not like was, the window. Since the curtain was open, people outside could peep through in, and should we take a picture just as they peeped through, it would show on the final pic how it was not upside down, if you get what am saying. As you can see outside there is a building across the road, and even that, makes the picture less "real", you know.

Another favorite of mine is the following. I just love seeing the boys on this picture and plus the pink shade of the wall, turned up nicely on the picture.

If you have not been to any attraction like this, I would totally recommend it. The final pictures make nice memories (and Steemit/Instagram/Blog worthy lol), especially if you have the spare cash for it :)

Anyways, thanks for looking and hopefully your Wednesday is not as gloomy as our sky at the moment, altho am not complaining much as it is cooler than days before :D

See youse!
