En Gibraltar se vive como antes de la pandemia. Los ciudadanos pasean por la calle sin mascarillas con la seguridad que les da estar vacunados y saber que no hay casos activos de coronavirus en La Roca. Las tiendas están repletas de personas comprando y los restaurantes con reservas en todas sus mesas.
Life in Gibraltar is as it was before the pandemic. People walk down the street without masks, safe in the knowledge that they have been vaccinated and that there are no active cases of the coronavirus on the Rock. The shops are full of people shopping and the restaurants are fully booked.
De los establecimientos de Gibraltar quiero resaltar la cervecería "The Horseshoe" (La herradura). El interior es típico inglés cubierto de detalles militares. Entre ellos una gorra de un marinero del portaviones "HMS Ark Royal", hundido en la costa de Málaga en la Segunda Guerra Mundial. Las pintas aquí son fantásticas.
Of the establishments in Gibraltar I would like to highlight the brewery "The Horseshoe". The interior is typical English, covered with military details. Among them a sailor's cap from the aircraft carrier "HMS Ark Royal", sunk off the coast of Malaga in the Second World War. The pints here are fantastic.
Hay cafeterías con mucho encanto, buen servicio y buen café. Los locales son muy curiosos por la antigüedad y la decoración. Esta cafetería es "Jury's Café and Wine Bar".
There are charming cafés with good service and good coffee. The places are very curious because of their antiquity and decoration. This café is "Jury's Café and Wine Bar".
La calle principal o Main Street es donde se agolpan las tiendas y no encuentras a nadie con mascarillas. Algunos se nos acercan y nos invitan a que nos la quitemos para estar más cómodos. Se lo agradecemos y seguimos con ella por no estar vacunados.
Main Street is where the shops are crowded and you don't find anyone with masks. Some approach us and invite us to take them off to be more comfortable. We thank them and continue with it because we are not vaccinated.
Nunca nos vamos con las manos vacías. Llevamos algún detalle de la famosa tienda "Music Corner"
y cositas del almacén "Morrisons".

and a little something from the "Morrisons" store.
