We did too! Well, not all of them. Anyway, we were finding for a good place to eat in Busay without facing much of the crowd.
It was a Sunday. And it was almost impossible to find a restaurant that wasn't overcrowded until we found GARAHE 🚙
This is what it looks right when you walk into it. I know, right? It looks too plain. Boy, was I wrong.
Honestly, we were confused. What exactly are they serving? Grilled pork? Fancy stuff? Do they have soup? Or coffee?
Luckily, a LARGE MENU is right by the doorstep for you to have a good glimpse of what they're exactly serving.
We got at a table, hoping for a hillside view but people were already seated. So we opted for one of the tables near the door. And then, we realized... there's actually more than what meets the eye!
(This was their first floor, right when you walk into the resto)
What we thought was a simple one-story restaurant in the hillsides of Busay was actually two-storey with a second floor underground along with rustic feels in the setting.
See how not crowded it is!
They also have interesting and eye-catching murals on the walls on their "second floor" below, which is perfect for some photo ops.
In my case, I went for the beautiful lanterns right at the edge of the railing and had some pictures there instead.
So, how about the FOOD?
Well, we were more than pleased! Everything was so delicious... and it didn't tear our wallets too! 😜
You can order BBQ for Php 65. That's their cheapest meal, which is already a good deal for me!

Where to find it?
It's a few meters ahead of the way to Mt. View Resort. Their signage is pretty big and clear. You wouldn't miss it 😉
Overall, it was a great date night. All thanks to the newly discovered resto, GARAHE!
Also, I forgot to mention that they're a great pit stop whenever you have bike rides with your friends to Busay in the morning. Probably because of their delicious all-day breakfast meals!! 🍳
