Hive Philippines Street Photography #316 - by Allmonitors

#316 - It's another beautiful morning my dear Hiveans. I am about to start my work at six in the morning while enjoying a hot cup of coffee. My people are still asleep while my wife also starts her shift the same time as me. So we woke up at the same time.

We are thankful that our employers allow us to work from home during this pandemic. While some that needs their physical presence on site like those in manufacturing are in greater risk of exposure to the dreaded illness. So practicing all the mandatory health requirements when going out.

Now let me share some monochrome shots I have taken in the streets of the shoe capital of the country. A man wearing cycling garments sits on the elevated part of a store while he observe his surrounding. He seems to be waiting for his fellow bikers before they move on.

Wheels of all sorts. There is a tricycle in front of the frame while a motorcycle is just behind. The rider on the back is a delivery man. Then there are bicycles converted as mobile markets, they sells several kinds of fruits and vegetables. Having tires is an advantage for them because they can get to several areas of the city instead of just selling in one area.

Laborers contracted by the local government or employed by them routinely doing preventive maintenance of street posts. They are painting it with colorful designs which is not visible since this is in monochrome but I will feature it in colored version soon.

Lastly, a party store opens up as early as seven in the morning and there is already a couple inquiring for their products. The couple may have a child having a birthday celebration soon. Though parties are not allowed because of the virus, people who live in the same household still prefer to throw a small party with themselves without inviting others. They will just share the food to their neighbors and friends which make delivery riders make a living.
