Hive Philippines Street Photography #290 - by Allmonitors

#290 - Good day again my fellow Hiveans. I wanted to share today some monochrome shots taken in Bontoc, a small town in the northern part of the country. It is also the capital of Mountain Province and just less than a hour you will get to Sagada already.

After our two day trip from Sadanga, also a small remote village of this province where we went to check the nature it offers like rice terraces and also a majestic falls. We left there at around six in the morning and arrived at Bontoc past seven. We still have time for a breakfast meal in the eateries found at their market. Where they serve cheap healthy foods which are mostly vegetables in nature. But they do also offer meat recipes for those who are more on carnivore diets.

So on our way to the market I took photos and this one is my wife standing on the metal grills installed on the side of the road as a protective barrier so the children going to school will not deviated to the provincial road where large vehicles pass by most of the time.

Then we passed by this government center where employees are already arriving, some are even having small talks already. These people are early birds.😊

This is the road we traversed using a 4x4 jeepney going to Sadanga. Early morning, the street is swarmed by tricycles moving passengers from one spot to the another. On the left are stores that sell souvenirs to tourists arriving at this town.
