How to Pay Your Pag-IBIG Housing Loan with GCash?

Pag-IBIG offers an option for low- and mid-income Filipino citizens to be able to afford a cheap financing option to afford a home. It is a huge thing for a Filipino to have a home, not everyone has the capacity to afford one.

My husband and I applied for our first HDMF or Home Development Mutual Fund last 2015. The process was hassle free because it was our property developer who had processed all the paper. We only provided the requirements.

It's been five years since we started paying our Pag-IBIG HDMF loan, we have a 25 year plan and so we only have 20 years to go.

This blog is a tutorial on how we pay our Pag-IBIG loan hassle free via GCash which is what's very famous in the country now. There are many ways of paying the due amount but this is our main option because we don't have to get out of the house, everything is done on the mobile phone.

Before using GCash, we had tried paying through the bank and PAG IBIG office itself. But since they stopped receiving payments from the office, we switched over to GCash and it was a good decision because of its hassle-free, very easy, and very convenient! Let me show you how it's done!

1. Launch GCash App

2. Login with you MPIN

3. Tap Pay Bills

4. Select Government on the List

5. Look for Pag IBIG

6. Select Housing Loan on the Type section and enter all details required

7. Tap on Pay Bill, review the details and press confirm!

There's a Php 5 processing fee, make sure your balance has enough amount available! It is best to save the biller so you don't have to input the details every month! Your saved biller is available at the top portion.
