For the first time in the history of the NBA a team not belonging to any of the 50 United States of America has won the most coveted ring in the world.
The Canadian Miracle
The Toronto Raptors have graduated champions thanks to an overwhelming path, playing as a team and clinging to their Kawhi Leonard phenomenon in the decisive moments.
And it is the latter who was judged the best Finals player, winning the title of MVP (Most Valuable Player) of the 2019 finals.
The 2019/2020 season will see Kawhi far from Canada. Indeed, Leonard preferred the warm and sunny California, settling down in Los Angeles, on the Clippers shore.
A painful separation but without rancor, between 2 lovers who, before dividing, gave all they had in their bodies, one for the other.
The Toronto Raptors 2018/2019 edition have accomplished a sporting enterprise worthy of being remembered forever.
Started as great outsiders at the start of the season, they gradually climbed the Eastern Conference hierarchy, to the extent that they became Eastern masters.
Nothing could have been the most famous Boston Celtics of coach Brad Stevens.
The Philadelphia 76ers of the "Trust the process" also had to surrender.
Not even his divinity Giannis Antetokoumpo managed to come between the title and the Raptors.

It would be resounding to repeat it.
Lightning never falls 2 times in the same spot
With the farewell of Leonard the repeat seems impossible.
Not only has the star that led Toronto to the title ended elsewhere but other factors also make it unlikely another Canadian victory.
Once Leonard left, no one else came to replace him.
Since the draft, young people have not landed on which to focus immediately.
Those who remained hardly will have the same hunger for victories as last year.
Last, but not least, the obstacle is represented by the exponential growth of the other teams that populate the Eastern Conference.
Boston has revolutionized the roster but appears to be growing.
The Bucks confirmed last year's supercompetitive block and can count on an even more devastating "Greak Freak".
Philadelphia seems to have no rivals on paper thanks to Horford's graft.
Miami got its hands on Jimmy Butler.
Indiana wants to give continuity to last year's excellent results.
Detroit can count on the league's strongest block of longs.
As if that wasn't enough, the Nets dominated the free agency, bringing Durant, Jordan and Irving to the big apple.
Toronto therefore appears far behind in the hierarchies, resulting on the playoff team card to be played without the home factor.

Per la prima volta nella storia della NBA una squadra non appartenente a nessuno dei 50 Stati Uniti d'America ha vinto l'anello più ambito al mondo.
Il Miracolo Canadese
I Toronto Raptors si sono laureati campioni grazie ad un percorso travolgente, giocando di squadra ed aggrappandosi al loro fenomeno Kawhi Leonard nei momenti decisivi.
Ed è proprio quest'ultimo ad essere stato giudicato il miglior giocatore delle Finals, vincendo il titolo di MVP (Most Valuable Player) delle finals 2019.
La stagione 2019/2020 vedrà Kawhi lontanto dal Canada. Leonard ha, infatti, preferito la calda e soleggiata California, accasandosi a Los Angeles, sponda Clippers.
Una separazione dolorosa ma senza rancore, fra 2 innamorati che prima di dividersi hanno dato tutto quello che avevano in corpo, l'un per l'altro.
I Toronto Raptors edizione 2018/2019 hanno compiuto un'impresa sportiva degna di essere ricordata per sempre.
Partiti come grandi outsider ad inizio stagione hanno pian piano scalato le gerarchie della Eastern Conference, fino a diventare padroni dell'Est.
Nulla hanno potuto i più blasonati Boston Celtics di coach Brad Stevens.
Hanno dovuto arrendersi anche i Philadelphia 76ers del "Trust the process".
Neppure sua divinità Giannis Antetokoumpo è riuscito a frapporsi fra il titolo e i Raptors.
Inesorabilmente i canadesi son arrivati alle Finals dove quasi per tutti gli addetti ai lavori sarebbero dovuti essere gli sparring partner degli invincibili Golden State Warriors.
E invece la favola Raptors era solo iniziata.

Le sfuriate di Van Vleet dalla panchina.
L'energia di Lowry.
La saggezza di Marc Gasol.
La freddezza di Danny Green.
L'agonismo di Ibaka.
La classe di Kawhi Leonard.
La squadra. La grande mentalità di gruppo plasmata dal sorprendente coach Nurse, hanno consentito ai Raptors di travolgere i Warriors.
Partite sempre in bilico. Bellissime. Vibranti. Spesso chiuse punto a punto ma che nel complesso hanno evidenziato come i Toronto Raptors fossero meritevoli dell'anello.
Si è fatta la storia.
Ripeterla avrebbe del clamoroso.
Un fulmine non cade mai 2 volte nello stesso punto
Con l'addio di Leonard il repeat sembra impossibile.
Non solo la stella che ha portato Toronto al titolo è finita altrove ma anche altri fattori rendono improbabile un'altra clamorosa vittoria dei canadesi.
Partito Leonard non è arrivato nessun altro a rimpiazzarlo.
Dal draft non sono approdati giovani su cui puntare nell'immediato.
Chi è rimasto difficilmente avrà la stessa fame di vittorie dello scorso anno.
Ultimo, ma non ultimo, ostacolo è rappresentato dalla crescita esponenziale degli altri team che popolano la Eastern Conference.
Boston ha rivoluzionato il roster ma appare in crescita.
I Bucks hanno confermato il blocco supercompetitivo dello scorso anno e potranno contare su un "Greak Freak" ancora più devastante.
Philadelphia sulla carta sembra non avere rivali grazie all'innesto di Horford.
Miami ha messo le mani su Jimmy Butler.
Indiana vuole dare continuità ai risultati ottimi dello scorso anno.
Detroit può contare sul blocco di lunghi più forte della lega.
Come se non bastasse i Nets hanno dominato la free agency portando nella grande mela Durant, Jordan e Irving.
Toronto appare dunque molto indietro nelle gerarchie, risultando sulla carta squadra da playoff da disputare senza il fattore casa.

Por primera vez en la historia de la NBA, un equipo que no pertenece a ninguno de los 50 Estados Unidos de América ha ganado el anillo más codiciado del mundo.
El milagro canadiense
LLos Toronto Raptors se han graduado campeones gracias a un camino abrumador, jugando en equipo y aferrándose a su fenómeno Kawhi Leonard en los momentos decisivos.
Y es este último quien fue juzgado como el mejor jugador de las Finales, ganando el título de MVP (Jugador Más Valioso) de las finales de 2019.
La temporada 2019/2020 verá a Kawhi lejos de Canadá. De hecho, Leonard prefirió la cálida y soleada California, estableciéndose en Los Ángeles, en la costa de los Clippers.
Una separación dolorosa pero sin rencor, entre 2 amantes que, antes de dividirse, dieron todo lo que tenían en sus cuerpos, uno por el otro.
