Hello Splintfriends, this is the week of opportunity so I want to share some fun battles, strategies and uses of this ability.**
First of all, this ability used to be exclusive for a promo a card the Fiendish Harpy , so just a few players understood how it used to work, Beta series don´t have any card with this ability but when the untamed series came out some of new card has this ability even in combination with others making stronger cards.
The first card with Opportinity
When I started play @Splinterlands I didn´t understand were this card came from and why it was attacking to my monsters being just a melee attack monster, them I read about this incredible ability and I saw why.
Monsters with the Opportunity ability may attack from any position and will target the enemy Monster with the lowest health.

At this time we have one promo card and six brand new Untamed series and one reward common card with this ability, here we have our chart.

All of them are melee attack monsters, can you imagine a card with opportunity and blast, that could be a big destructive card.

When you are playing against monsters with this ability there is a good way to destroy it but you must understand that you need to have a monster with low health so there is a promo monster that can help you with that, the good thing is that this is a neutral one and have a lot of armor and 1 of life so no opportunity can affect him.
The furious chicken could help but just once so is one opportunity and the exploding dwarf too but retaliate could not be activated and probability the card die.
At this time I decide to combine the opportunity monsters that I have I just have a few but at this time I am using maggots and parasitic growth, those two on greater levels could make a good change but this time helped a little bit.
This is a fight of dragon and death element, the bad about this battle situation was the armor of all enemy monsters and the repair ability of armorsmith and the resurrection of the angel of light, this battle could make me lose if the enemy Lord Arianthus was at level 2 so no turns for me.
This is a nice distribution of power, Lord Arianthus is a great card but is unable to attack, those two are ready to go for the monster with less health.
Maggots easily killed Elven Cutthroat but was resurrected and parasitic growth try to destroy it but is a level 1 card so a miss came out.Them the maggots came for feral spirit and kill it them everything was simple,an attack for my opportunity monsters.
Opportunity is great combination, a good example could be with a dragon monsters using a monster with opportunity of any element with the neutral one and the dragon.
