Since the time I have arrived to India, I have been out on these short trips, trying to make the most of my time and completing my To Do list.
The last 2 days, me and hubby made a short trip to the place where we have our main holy place, which is called as the Atashbehram or Fire Temple. Our temple is called by this name and we do not say temple visit.
The Atashbehram is located in a place which is around 200 kms from my Mumbai city. Its a long drive and on top of that almost the whole city of Mumbai is currently under some or the other work which blocks the roads and many bottle necks which results into heavy traffic congestion. So while it is a straight road which can be covered up in 3.5 to 4 hrs, but for us it took 5 hrs while going and 6 hrs in return which was very exhausting.
Anyways the purpose was fulfilled so it gave me satisfaction, and once we were out of the city, the drive all throughout till our destination was beautiful with green landscapes all around.
The Fire Temple is in a small village called Udwada. For city people life here takes you back in time. Though they do have all the technology of today's time but ofcourse not very upgraded. It definitely takes you 2 decades back. A lot of houses here have become ruins, I guess people living here must have moved to City areas many years ago.
From the pictures you will see how old they must be and now all in ruins. Theres are creepers also now on them.
Local life here is at a very different level. Somethings that we cannot ever imagine in city life.
Here there are many Cows on the road and one has to be very careful while driving, specially at night time. They are in big groups, almost blocking the whole road and you cannot do anything about it but just being careful.
The guest house we stayed in was sea facing. It was a decent cozy little place with all basic amenities.

Udwada we headed back home with the divine blessings of the almighty.
