Today I am joining the Creative Recycling Challenge # 14 : IT'S TIME TO RECYCLE! Together we create awareness, with the elaboration of a beautiful Palm Tree made with plastic bottles.

Botellas plásticas color marrón y verde

Piedras de colores arena

- cortamos la botella marrón en una tira larga.
- cut the brown bottle into a long strip.
+cortamos la parte liza de la botellas verde luego cortamos rectángulos de 6 cm de ancho y 8 de largo, doblamos formamos hojas y recortamos.
+We cut the smooth part of the green bottles, then cut rectangles of 6 cm wide and 8 cm long, fold, form leaves and cut them out.
- cortamos las hojas sin llegar al centro luego abrimos poco a poco de esta forma formamos la palmas de la mata de coco.
- Cut the leaves without reaching the center and then open them little by little to form the palms of the coconut bush.
- luego de formada las palmas pegamos una en frente de la otra y así hasta formar la Palmera.
- After forming the palms, we glue one in front of the other and so on until the palm tree is formed.
- procedemos a enrollar poco a poco la tira marrón hasta formas como un conito que sirva como el tronco de la Palmera.
- We proceed to roll the brown strip little by little until it forms a cone shape that serves as the trunk of the Palm Tree.
- pegamos la Palmera sobre el tronco
- we glue the Palm Tree on the trunk
- cortamos el fondo de una botella y lo usamos como matero y pegamos la planta en la base
- we cut the bottom of a bottle and use it as a pot and glue the plant at the base.
- le agregamos la arena a la base y luego y le colocamos las piedras de colores.
- we add the sand to the base and then we place the colored stones.
- Doblamos un poco las hoja y le pegamos bolitas de papel para simular los cocos.
- Fold the sheets a little and glue paper balls to simulate coconuts.
