[Last time...]

“Ain yoo’re awaur 'att th' soothern shair o' thes loch is territory o' Stoatin Britain?” The captain asked calmly as he locked eyes with him.
“You were sailing in French waters!”
“Nae, Ahh wasn’t. Main Duck Islain is squaur in th' middle, an' onie vessel 'att fires oan mah ship- unprovoked, will pay th' sam price!”
“You lie!” Gagnon exclaimed loudly, pounding his fist on the table.

“That’s a lot of bunsens fur a lake-boond patrol corvette!” Petty Officer Oblinknackers replied as he took a bight out of his plain, “Do ye really think th' Keptin will return home efter thes kind of haul?”

“Don’t hauld yer breath mucker. We don’t e'en ken whaur th' Silverton is headed!”

[Back in the great cabin…]

“You’re splitting hairs!” Commander Gagnon replied spitefully, “You were tacking directly at my ship, on the north side of the island!”
“So, ye thooght tae gang tae war fur puckle hunder feet o' water?” The captain replied calmly.

“My gun threw a load well ahead of your bow! You should have dropped your sails!”
“Drop mah sails?! Aw th' while waitin' fur th' second gin tae kill a dizzen o' mah crew?"

The Captain closed his eyes for half second and laughed...

"Haw, Haw! Yoo’ve ne'er seen real brine battle, hav ye commander?” He finally replied as he rolled up the chart and tossed it to the side.

Commander Gagnon didn’t reply to the last question. He diverted his gaze and then spoke…
Commander-Cordon-Gagnon.jpg
” What do you plan to do with me and my crew?”
“Ah, anither problem, aye. As prisoners o' war, Ahh coods hang th' lot o' ye!”
“Barbarism! You’re nothing but a rogue officer and I will make a full report of your actions!” Gagnon said as he clenched his teeth in rage.

The captain let out another large cloud of blue smoke...
