The first week of our Sibling Trip in Italy was wonderful. From Italy we flew to London. Before heading up to Northern England and then Scotland to see where our ancestors lived we spent a couple of splendid hours at the Kew Gardens.
Gardens are one of my favorite places and they top my list when Chihuly is there.
The Kew Gardens is located in southwest London. It was founded in 1840 and is has more than 50,000 species of plants on 300 acres of land. It is also now a UNSECO World Heritage site. 1
This post will be about the garden with a couple pictures of Chihuly and the next post will be all about Chihuly with a couple of pictures of the garden.
