A young man in his early 50s stopped at a flower shop to buy some flowers to be sent to his mother who lived in about two states away from him. He noticed a young girl of about twelve years old as he alighted from his vehicle sitting some distance away from the flower shop crying and looking very sad.
He approached her and asked what the problem was and she replied, "I wanted to buy my mother a rose flower but I don't have enough money with me. I have only #500 and the cheapest rose flower costs about #2000."
The man told her to wipe her tears and promised to get her the rose flower. "Come with me", he said as they enter the shop. He told the girl to point at any flower of her choice. She pointed at the one she wanted and she was all smiles, happy that she can finally get a rose flower for her mother. The man offered to drop her at her mother's house. She was happy that she'd go meet her mother with someone. They drove for a while before she pointed towards a cemetery. She went straight to her mother's grave and dropped the flowers. He mother died recently because the grave looks freshly dug.

The man was astonished by this little girl's act. He drove to the flower shop to cancel the dispatch order, picked up sets of beautiful flowers and drove several hours to his mother's house to deliver the flowers himself.
He realized how important family is and that nothing in this world can be compared to family. He felt the need to go deliver the flowers to his mother, hug and spend time with her because one day he'd not see her again and it is important to spend time with her when she's still alive.
