Churdhar is land of shiva. I also belong to this place. People come here for trek and camping. People come to churdhar for worship lord shiva. This is the highest peak in Sirmaur. So you can see Himalayan Range through naked eyes.
When you reach at the top you will see beautiful mountains coverd with snow and they are fully covered by snow for 12 months. These ranges looks beautiful when sky is clear. You can see beauty of nature everywhere.
If you want see different natural colors then you have to see sunset in churdhar because literally i never saw these kind of colors anywhere. First it looks orange and then it become dark red in the end.
Morning in churdhar is one of the best experiencing moment. Because when you wake up sun rays directly comes on body and cold breeze makes morning special. It gives very refreshing vibes.
Churdhar peak is 3750m high from the sea level. You have to trek for 14 km to reach to the top and one km more for the temple.Trek is quite joyful and some times dangerous and life taking.
This lord shiva statue gives so much positive energy. I used go there so often but every time I go here i really feel that there is lord shiva looking at us and giving the blessings and power to fight against negative energies.
The best thing on trek is that you will find many Shepherds there who have many cows and sheeps with them. We call them Gujjar in our local language and they make milk products which is highly rich in quality and pure as well.
This is a very big stone. You can climb on it by naked feet. People said that once a monster came here to kill people so people climb on this stone and trying to jump and take their own life but lord shiva make them statue and those statues are still there.
