FASCINATING INSECTS: Super Small Grasshopper - Acridoidea

Hi Friends of the Fascinating Insects community.

I have got a very small Grasshopper which is about 7 mm long. But I think this grasshopper will experience in its adult stage, maybe it will be up to 70 mm long, with a light cream colour and black stripes on the hind legs.

While black has small black spots on the body. But this grasshopper has a body shape that is almost the same as a wooden grasshopper. maybe as an adult will experience a change in colour.

However, there is an opinion that says that this grasshopper belongs to the Acridoidea superfamily.

Acridoidea is the largest superfamily of grasshoppers in the Orthoptera order with species found on every continent except Antarctica. Wikipedia - Acridoidea source

Acrididae grasshoppers are characterized by relatively short and stout antennae, and tympana on the side of the first abdominal segment. Wikipedia- Acrididae source
