Hi, the big guys on this platform. I'm Joshua Omidiji. I love to be called OMIFEM. I'm a Nigerian from Osun State ( Southwest part of the Country). My state is known for virtues and living spring. We so much cherish hard work and diligence as an essential commodity of life.
I came from a noble and reputable family that is religiously inclined, academically sound, morally and adequately nurtured, and well deep-rooted in cultural and social values.
I had my primary education in the late 80s down to the early 90s. I, therefore, proceeded to The Apostolic College Ilesa, Osun State for my secondary education in the late 90s. In the same vein, I attended Teacher Grade II College under the Distance Learning System (DLS) in year 2003. As we all know that knowledge is endless, I decided to take a step further in my quest to be among the elites of academician, I got admitted to Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife in the year 2011, there I graduated with Degree in Education (B.Ed) Second Class Upper from the Department of Institute of Education (Social Studies).
I have worked in different Organizations, Institutions and Agencies which had afforded me a load of experience in my chosen career. As an embodiment of an academic instructor who so much derive delight and have passion for the impartation of knowledge to both young and adult in literacy education. I served as Classroom Teacher between 2000 to 2004. I however joined the Non-Clinical Staff of Obafemi Awolowo University Teaching Hospital Complex ( OAUTHC)Ile-Ife, where I served as a Nursing Assistance for many years. Also, I worked as Adhoc staff of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) as Presiding Officer in 2015 General elections in Nigeria, Assistant Presiding Officer in 2016, at Ondo state Gubernatorial election respectively.
Currently, I'm an Education Officer at the Local Education Authority, Bwari Area Council, Abuja. I love watching football, reading inspirational books and attending any value-added conference and seminar.
I am computer literate with vast knowledge. Recently, a friend of mine came to inform me about Hive. I first asked him that "is Hive a botanical name? Because I have never heard about it. He laughed and gave me more info on Hive to read, and later, I was invited to an event. There I understand Hive is exciting. I believe Hive ecosystem would afford me the ample opportunity to improve my chosen career and also help me to be connected to the kind of people that can add value to my life.
Furthermore, I have seen the Hive ecosystem as a platform that can help me to achieve my long term goals in the area of social norms and conformity, networking and human resources. I believe that with the Hive ecosystem I'm good to go to places in life, so I want to make it my second home.
