Hi nest friends, have a nice day, and always in good condition. And hopefully all our activities today run smoothly, Amen
this afternoon, I will share some of the activities that I did today with my friends, we worked on how to sow seeds, before we planted rice.
First: we have to choose good rice seeds, then we soak them in water, about two days, after two days, we will lift them from the water, and put them in a sack, and after two more days, if the seeds have started to grow or have germinated , then we can sow.
The second stage: we must provide land for sowing seeds that have started to grow early.
The third stage: we have to provide plastic, for the rice seed nursery. We have to spread the plastic neatly, in the place we cleaned earlier.
Fourth stage: we take the mud in the trench using a big bucket, and we put the mud on the plastic that we stretched before, and we have to spread the mud on the plastic, about an inch thick.
The fifth stage: after we flatten the mud on the plastic, next we will sow the seeds that we have prepared, on the mud and not too dense.
The sixth stage: after we sow the seeds in the mud, we have to prepare the banana leaves, as the initial cover for the seeds we have sown earlier.
The seventh stage: we cover the seeds tightly with banana leaves, then we cover them with mats or tents, and a little trash. What is the point? so that the hot sun does not directly hit the banana leaves, because the base is exposed to the sun early. we will put the trash on the mat. to give a sign.
Because in my area we still rely on rain to grow rice, and today all the rice fields are flooded, so we have to sow rice seeds in high places, so that they don't get flooded, because if the seeds are flooded, the seeds will die.
That's all from me @lasman07. The initial method of growing rice in my area is still rainfed, and there is no irrigation. I hope this image of mine can entertain all hive(cch) friends.
Happy working again my friend, I hope everything goes well
