The Busy Street of Bacolod City The Day Before Maskara Festival

The Busy Streets of Bacolod City. Bacolod City is also known as The City of Smile. It is located in the Western Visayas of the Philippines. This place has large sugar land field. Your grateful eyes would be definitely entertained with the green field of sugarland. I will be featuring the beauty of Bacolod in my next blog but today let me show you the busy streets of Bacolod City during Maskara Festival 2018.

During the celebration, people flocked the bacolod streets to watch contingent of dancers dancing while wearing colorful maskara with their traditional clothes.

As I went home from the office the day before the celebration, I had decided to just take a hike. Because during that time, the atmosphere of the street was alive and there were no private and public vehicles in the main street. Some of the streets were temporarily closed for Maskara Festival Celebration. It had been in a 2-day mandatory closure. That time there was a re-routing activity happened in support of the vast celebration.

Everywhere in the corner of the streets were busy. There were busy people taking photos, food kiosk attendants were busy preparing and serving foods to their customers, and maskara and toy vendors were busy selling their products.

The Municipality of Bacolod City had deployed many Police, Army and other Marshalls to provide safety to all tourists, visitors and performers. They were kept moving around just to ensure the safety of everyone. Look how busy people in the streets. Although I walked alone but I still enjoyed the hike because my eyes were greatly entertained. I never felt mundane.

As I came closer to the Bong-Bong's Store (it is a famous store selling Bacolod delicacies) I noticed a group of youngster who were just taking rest after the parade so I took them a photo. They were bringing different and colorful props.

While I was busy taking photos, I saw a tree in the corner and since I wanted to get a nice angle on that tree, I stopped and bend my knees, I never cared people around me as long as I could have a nice angle but unfortunately I was not able to capture the nice angle. I was get frustrated for my poor photography knowledge. I need more and more practice to develop my photography skill.
