So, We are here again on another Sunday, It's a day where we can do some creative tasks and share them with our Hive family.

The last few days were busy for us due to my friend's marriage. Marriage here is a 3-day event and as a friend, it was my duty to see all the arrangements of the marriage and due to this, I wasn't able to eat properly on the marriage. I was told that there was Beaf Pulao at the Barat event. But I didn't manage to eat it. So today I and my wife decided to cook it at home and enjoy eating it. It's a two-step process recipe and very easy to make at home.

  • Step 1 is Making Beef Broth.
  • Step 2 cooking rice

Ingredients

  • 3 Big Onions
  • Half Kg Beaf meat.
  • 1 Garlic.
  • 1 Tablespoon of ginger Garlic Paste.
  • 1 TableSpoon Whole Spices.
  • Salt ( as per taste )
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 12-15 Green Chilies.
  • 2 big potatoes.
  • 1 Cup yoghurt.
  • 350 Ml Oil.
  • 1/2 TeaSpoon black pepper powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon corriander + 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon whole spice powder.
  • 1/2 kg rice.

Cooking Procedure

The first step is to make beef Broth. To do that. we will use one onion here. Cut it as shown in the picture. We will also be needing Garlic. Don't peel off it.

Add whole spices to the stainer.

Now we will bring the main ingredient of this recipe, which is beef. Wash the beef properly and remove the extra fat from the beef. The beef is looking clean in the picture.

Now bring the pressure cooker, fill it with two litres of water and add beef, onion, garlic and whole spices in it. Here don't forget to add salt.

Pressure it for about 15-20 minutes.

Now we will move towards our second step, which is to cook rice. Cut the onions, tomatoes and potatoes.

Take a cooking pot and add oil to it.

add the onions to the cooking pot and cook them for 5-6 minutes until they get light brown.

Now we will prepare Ginger, garlic and green chilli paste. add all these ingredients in grind them in the grinder.

add tomatoes to the cooking pot and cook them for about 2-3 minutes.

add potatoes after adding tomatoes. and cook again for 8-10 minutes.

Now bring the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and add it to the cooking pot.

Now separate the beef and broth and add beef to the cooking pot.

Bring the dry spices to the Plate.

Add them to the cooking pot and cook it for about 2-3 minutes.

Now bring 1 cup of yoghurt

add yoghurt to the cooking pot and also three green chillies to the cooking pot. it will enhance the taste. cook for 5 minutes.

now add the beef broth to the cooking pot.

Clean the rice and soak them for about 20-30 minutes.

add rice to the cooking pot and mix it well, making sure the material in the cooking pot is hot boiling.

Let it cook until the water in to cooking pot gets dry.

the last and final step is to cover the cooking pot with some heavy/warm cloth and keep it on a light flame for about 15-20 minutes.

here you have the yummiest Beef yakhni Pulao.

enjoy it with yoghurt if you want. you can also eat them along with Salad.
