Les saluda con mucho agrado es Tomás Enrique Grau, soy músico trompetista, he llegado a esta plataforma gracias a mi hija @mayegrau y su esposo @jeanfrancopit que me motivaron a formar parte de esta plataforma, nací en Cumaná el 16 de Diciembre de 1961, mis padres fueron Isabel Grau y Tomas Torres, desde muy niño me inicié en el mundo de la música puesto que mi padre fue músico y mi madre era una excelente repostera de allí se podría decir que me apasionan estas artes, por parte de mi padre tengo 33 hermanos pero no crean que mi madre los parió a todos, solo somos 4 hijos en esta unión, tengo 5 hijos dos varones y tres hembras, dos de estas son con mi actual pareja Natali Gonzáles.

Inicié mi carrera musical en el año 1975 en la escuela de música Gómez Cardiel en la catedra de teoría y solfeo e instrumentos varios, pero profesor Leopoldo Jouberth mi recomendó que me quedara con la trompeta porque era un instrumento muy versátil, luego me inscribí en la Orquesta Sinfónica Juvenil de Cumaná en el año 1981 recibiendo clases con el maestro uruguayo Walter Pinto en la catedra de trompeta, al pasar del tiempo ya con un buen dominio de este instrumento, ingresé a la banda de concierto Libertad en el año 1985 a la cual le dediqué 33 años de servicio, en el año 1989 fui cofundador del mariachi Gran Tenampa, agrupación musical que aún formo parte siendo su director y primera trompeta; hablar de anécdotas y logros de esta agrupación es escribir demasiado por la cantidad de reconocimientos y premios obtenidos a lo largo de estos años colocándonos como el mariachi de más prestigio del oriente venezolano.
