Last year when I was recommended to see this movie, I thought it would be another meaningless teen drama but I decided to give it a chance and I didn't regret it. I had a pleasant time watching this film that makes you dream without necessarily being a film that would win an Oscar but a place in your mind.
Every Day is a film released in 2018 by MGM film studio directed and produced by Michael Sucsy, Paul Trijbits, with screenplays written by Jesse Andrews based on the adaptation of the book Every Day by author David Levithan. This film has a running time of approximately 1 hour and 37 minutes. It features starring performances by Angourie Rice, Justice Smith, Maria Bello, Lucas Jade Zumann and Debbie Ryan.

El año pasado cuando me recomendaron ver esta película, pensé que sería otro dramón adolescente sin sentido pero decidí darle la oportunidad y no me arrepentí. Pase un grato momento viendo este film que te hace soñar sin necesariamente ser una película que ganaría un Oscar pero si un lugar en tu mente.
Cada Día es una película estrenada en 2018 por el estudio cinematográfico MGM dirigida y producida por Michael Sucsy, Paul Trijbits, con guiones escritos por Jesse Andrews basándose en la adaptación del libro Every Day del autor David Levithan. Este film tiene una duración de más o menos 1 hora y 37 minutos aproximadamente. Cuenta con las actuaciones estelares de Angourie Rice, Justice Smith, Maria Bello, Lucas Jade Zumann y Debbie Ryan.
The story is about a spirit or entity called A who wakes up every day in the body of a different person without prior consent of the possessed, so he will have to live that person's life for 24 hours until the clock strikes midnight. One day he wakes up in the body of a guy named Justin (Justice Smith) who is the careless boyfriend of Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) after this fact Justin can not remember anything of what he lived in the last 24 hours which made Rhiannon suspicious. Justin is an aggressive guy and I actually found him to be quite a jerk so when this spirit possesses him and starts treating Rhiannon pretty, Rhiannon falls in love and A also starts to feel an unexplainable connection, from then on, A will seek out Rhiannon to spend more time with her. This is the first time A feels the need to stay in one place, which leads him to wonder if there is a way to stop body hopping and have stability.
A always possesses the body of a person her age and usually from the same environment, but never possesses the same person twice. Sometimes, A wakes up in some very funny situations like possessing the body of the son of a family going on vacation to Hawaii, or when he possesses the body of a teenage son of a religious fanatic or that dark occasion when he jumped into the body of a person who is about to commit suicide. The truth is that even Rhiannon herself is possessed by this entity whose origin we never get to know.
La historia trata acerca de un espíritu o entidad llamado A que cada día despierta en el cuerpo de una persona diferente sin consentimiento previo del poseído, por lo que tendrá que vivir la vida de esa persona por 24 horas hasta que el reloj marque la medianoche. Un día despierta en el cuerpo de un chico llamado Justin (Justice Smith) quien es el descuidado novio de Rhiannon (Angourie Rice) luego de este hecho Justin no puede recordar nada de lo que vivió en las últimas 24 horas lo que hizo sospechar a Rhiannon. Justin es un tipo agresivo y la verdad me pareció bastante patán así que cuando este espíritu lo posee y comienza a tratar bonito a Rhiannon, esta se enamora y A también comienza a sentir una conexión inexplicable, a partir de entonces, A buscará a Rhiannon para pasar más tiempo con ella. Es la primera vez que A siente la necesidad de quedarse en un solo lugar, lo que le lleva a preguntarse si hay alguna manera de parar los saltos de cuerpo y tener estabilidad.
A siempre posee el cuerpo de una persona de su edad y por lo general del mismo entorno, pero nunca posee a la misma persona dos veces. A veces, A se despierta en algunas situaciones muy divertidas como poseer el cuerpo del hijo de una familia que se va de vacaciones a Hawai, o cuando posee el cuerpo de un adolescente hijo de una fanática religiosa o aquella oscura ocasión en la que saltó al cuerpo de una persona que está a punto de suicidarse. Lo cierto es que hasta la propia Rhiannon es poseída por esta entidad de la que nunca llegamos a saber su origen.
Perhaps I would have liked a more adult approach to the story, but I didn’t mind seeing Debby Bryan in the role of Rhiannon's older sister was fun and gave a special touch to the story, a less sympathetic role was certainly that of her mother Lindsey played by Maria Bello, I wished throughout the film that she was possessed by A to see if I could see a little sweetness in this character.
While Levithan's novel focused on the world through A's eyes, the film version shifted the focus to Rhiannon's, so our protagonist never knows who she will date tomorrow or the next day, so we see her dating practically every character in the film a rather controversial position to say the least.
Quizás me hubiera gustado un enfoque más adulto en la historia, pero no me molestó ver a Debby Bryan en el papel de la hermana mayor de Rhiannon fue divertida y le dio un toque especial a la historia, un rol menos simpático fue sin duda el de su madre Lindsey interpretado por María Bello, deseé durante toda la película que fuera poseída por A para que ver si podía ver un poquito de dulzura en este personaje.
Mientras que la novela de Levithan se enfocaba en el mundo a través de la mirada de A, la versión cinematográfica cambió el enfoque hacia el de Rhiannon, así que nuestra protagonista nunca sabe con quién saldrá mañana o el día siguiente, por lo que la vemos salir con prácticamente todos los personajes de la película una posición bastante polémica por decirlo de algún modo.
The subject matter of this film brings deep philosophical ideas about what sexual identity is and elevates it to the magnificent, but it doesn't stop there, it also deals with the limitations we have in living one life at a time. But it is something so inexplicable that you can't help but ask yourself questions that the film fails to answer such as: Who is A? Is he/she or it a spirit, an entity or a demon? How did this happen to "A"? How does it affect the mind of possessed people? Can he stop jumping from one body to another?
What I like most is the message that the film conveys, which celebrates love beyond the physical, very much in place in the times we are living in. Even today many people have problems with gender theory and I love the fact that the film touches on this subject. Although I really like the message, I don't consider it a LGBTIQ+ film either, in fact, I think it's more universal what it wants to convey regardless of your gender or sexual preference.
El tema que aborda esta película trae profundas ideas filosóficas sobre lo que es la identidad sexual y lo eleva a lo magnifico, pero no se limita a eso también trata las limitaciones que tenemos al vivir una vida a la vez. Pero es algo tan inexplicable que no puedes dejar de hacerte preguntas que el film no logra responder como: ¿Quién es A? ¿Es un espíritu, una entidad o un demonio? ¿Cómo le pasó esto a "A"? ¿Cómo afecta la mente de las personas poseídas? ¿Puede dejar de saltar de un cuerpo a otro?.
Lo que más gusta es el mensaje que transmite la película que celebra amor más allá del físico, muy a lugar en los tiempos que estamos viviendo. Incluso hoy muchas personas tienen problemas con la teoría de los géneros y me encanta que se toque el tema en el film. Aunque me gusta mucho el mensaje tampoco considero que sea a juro una película LGBTIQ+ de hecho, creo que es más universal lo que desea transmitir sin importar tu género preferencia sexual.
What didn’t convince me is that at the end at the point where already the relationship with Rhiannon is fracturing A discovers the life of Alexander (Owen Teague) a character unknown until that moment and suddenly realizes that he is affecting the lives of the people he jumps (as if he had not done so throughout the film) seemed to me a not very credible way to end things. Then from that point on you start imagining a series of hypothetical events that detract a lot from the story.
Lo que si no me convenció es que al final en el punto donde ya la relación con Rhiannon se está fracturando A descubre la vida de Alexander (Owen Teague) un personaje desconocido hasta ese momento y de repente se da cuenta que está afectando la vida de las personas a las que salta (como si no lo hubiera hecho durante toda la película) me pareció una manera poco creíble de terminar las cosas. Entonces a partir de ese momento se comienzan a imaginar una serie de hechos hipotéticos que le restan mucho a la historia.
Anyway, I'll keep the good things, with the message that this movie transmits us to love beyond what we see and to value more what we don't see, which are usually the most beautiful things. I'll keep pacing and leaving traces as A but on hive Lol, meanwhile my score for Every Day is 8/10 What do you say?.
De todas maneras me quedo con lo bueno, con el mensaje que nos transmite esta película de amar más allá de lo que vemos y valorar más lo que no vemos que generalmente son las cosas más bonitas. Seguiré marcando paso y dejando rastros como A pero en hive xd, mientras tanto mi puntuación para Cada Dia es de 8/10 ¿Qué dicen ustedes?.
