Crafting Gratitude: A Symbol Of Friendship And Celebration

Hello gorgeous @DiyHub members, am thrilled to share with us all how I used my leftover beads to create something for a friend.

As Valentine's Day came and went, I found myself regretting not being able to gift my dear friend something special. However, March, with its promise of new beginnings and celebrations, provided the perfect opportunity to make it up to her. Determined to craft a meaningful gift, I decided to create a neck choker, a symbol of our enduring friendship and the joyous moments we share. As a little token of appreciation for the unwavering kindness of a dear friend, as I embarked on this heartfelt journey of crafting a unique neck choker using a harmonious blend of brown and gold beads. The gold added a subtle sparkle to the choker, symbolizing the light and laughter my friend brings into my life. With every bead meticulously chosen, I envisioned the choker as not just an accessory, but a symbol of our shared experiences and cherished memories.

The crafting process was not without its challenges, as I encountered moments of uncertainty and doubt. Yet, with determination fueled by the desire to create something truly meaningful, I persevered, allowing my insight to guide me through the beadwork. As the choker began to take shape, I marveled at its beauty, each bead a testament to the strength and resilience of our friendship. As I worked on the choker, memories of our shared experiences flooded my mind. From late night conversations to spontaneous adventures. Crafting this gift became more than just a creative project, it became a reflection of our cherished friendship.

Finally just as I envisioned the bracelet to look, it came out same way and I was happy to hand it over to her. As she fastened the choker around her neck, it was as if our bond had been strengthened, infused with the love and warmth that went into its making. It was a reminder of the joyous moments we shared and the countless memories yet to be made. I knew I had succeeded in conveying the depth of my affection and gratitude.
In the end, crafting the neck choker for my friend was not just about making up for a missed opportunity, but it was about celebrating our friendship and the special connection we shared. I knew that no matter what the future held, our friendship would endure, a beacon of light and love in the journey of life.

The materials I used:
Brown beads
Pearl gold beads
Scissor
Hook
Fish line
Masking tape

                             **Procedures**

Firstly, I cut the fish line to my desired length and folded it into two after which I inserted the first part of the hook in the middle of the line and tightened it up.

Secondly, I used the masking tape to hold the line for my comfort which after I joined both lines together and inserted one gold bead to the line and after that I seperated the line and attached two gold beads and one brown bead on both lines and close it up using one gold bead.

Thirdly, I put two brown beads and joined the line and put one gold bead. I again seperated the lines attached two brown beads and one pearl beads on both lines and closed it up with one gold bead. I continued with same procedures as step 1 and 2 till I got my desired length.

Fourthly, I inserted the other part of my hook and tight it cut off the excess line with a scissor.

Thank you for your time, peace 🕊️
