Memory isn’t just a thing that occurs in brain, you can’t just will a memory into existence, you have to form it. Our brain have a variety of processes many of which we’re still learning about. That define how and why memories are stored and how they are recalled.

Brain contains billions of nerves cells arranged in patterns that coordinate thought, emotions, behavior, movement and sensation. A complicated highway system of nerves connects the brain to the rest of the body, so communication can occur in split seconds.

Consider how often you forget something Important. Maybe a name of someone from your past, a word you want to use, or the date of your best friend’s birthday. Forgetting all this things are common problem that can have both minor and serious consequences. So there are some little tips we all can do to improve on it.

Work out your brain

Memory, like muscular strength, requires to use it or lose it. The more you work out the brain, the better it will be able to process and remember information. But not all activities are equal. The best brain exercise break routine and challenge you to use and develop new pathways.

Get enough sleep

Sleep is important to a number of brain functions, including how nerve cells (neurons) communicate with each other. In fact the brain and body stay remarkably active while sleeping. Recent findings suggest that sleep plays a housekeeping role that removes toxins in the brain and build up while awake. And also good sleep aids good memory.

Practice mindfulness

Mindfulness is a kind of mental exercise for the brain. Based on meditation, it helps to focus on the present moment.
Research shows that after practicing mindfulness, the grey matter in the brain’s amygdala- ( a region known for its role in stress-can become small).

The pre-frontal cortex is the area of the brain responsible for things like planning, problem solving, and controlling emotions. The grey matter can become thicker after mindfulness.
So if we all can follow this steps it will definitely help not to forget things easily and also help our brain.
