SKY ROJO es otra de esas series de Netflix que atrapan y que no quieres dejar de ver hasta llegar al final. Mi esposo y yo nos dimos un maratón y la vimos en dos días por tres razones: la trama nos pareció interesante desde el primer momento, además, la acción se hace presente y es lo que nos gusta ver cuando buscamos juntos una serie o una película y, por último, los episodios solo duran 25 minutos, aproximadamente. Nos gustan series cortas y de episodios cortos también, esta con dos temporadas y con la propuesta de una tercera está perfecta. Esta serie aborda el tema de la trata de mujeres, violación, abuso y prostitución, un tema espinoso que queda al descubierto para llamar nuestra atención y nos invita a hacer una reflexión con respecto a la opinión que nos hacemos de las mujeres que toman este camino en sus vidas o que llegan a él, por necesidad, inocentemente o forzadas, y que se refleja en las tres protagonistas de esta historia.
SKY ROJO is another one of those Netflix series that catches you and that you don't want to stop watching until you reach the end. My husband and I marathoned it and watched it in two days for three reasons: the plot seemed interesting from the first moment, also, the action is present and that's what we like to watch when we are looking for a series or movie together and, finally, the episodes are only 25 minutes long, approximately. We like short series and short episodes too, this one with two seasons and with the proposal of a third one is perfect. This series addresses the issue of trafficking in women, rape, abuse and prostitution, a thorny issue that is exposed to draw our attention and invites us to reflect on the opinion we have of women who take this path in their lives or who come to it, by necessity, innocently or forced, and that is reflected in the three protagonists of this story.
SKY ROJO nos cuenta la historia de Coral (Verónica Sánchez), Wendy (Lali Espósito) y Gina (Yany Prado), tres mujeres que huyen de un burdel, deseando escapar del proxeneta que las tenía presas. Cada una tiene un pasado que las llevó hasta el infierno que es el burdel de Romeo (Asier Etxeandia) y que los espectadores conocemos gracias a los flashback que van apareciendo a lo largo de la serie y que nos permiten conocer sus vidas y comprender el porqué llegaron hasta allí. Al lado de Romeo, como perros fieles, están Moisés (Miguel Ángel Silvestre), quien tiene una deuda pendiente con este, y Christian ( Enric Auquer) hermano de Moisés.
SKY ROJO tells the story of Coral (Verónica Sánchez), Wendy (Lali Espósito) and Gina (Yany Prado), three women who flee from a brothel, hoping to escape from the pimp who held them prisoner. Each of them has a past that led them to the hell that is Romeo's (Asier Etxeandia) brothel and that the viewers get to know thanks to the flashbacks that appear throughout the series and that allow us to learn about their lives and understand why they got there. At Romeo's side, as faithful dogs, are Moisés (Miguel Ángel Silvestre), who has a debt pending with him, and Christian (Enric Auquer), Moisés' brother.
SKY ROJO me gustó mucho por el desarrollo de la historia, por la actuación de los personajes, sobre todo las actrices protagonistas, todas con mucho talento, cada una con un estilo y fuerza distintos. Es admirable la actuación de Lali Espósito como Wendy, me encantó, inteligente, tenaz y ruda, pero con un corazón muy noble, Gina me inspiró ternura por su inocencia implícita, pero también muy decidida; y Coral, una mujer fuerte, inteligente, aunque a veces se deja dominar por las pasiones y echa a perder los planes. En cuanto a las actuaciones de los caballeros, considero que todos son extraordinarios, pero mi favorito es Moisés (no olvido a Alberto en Velvet), es una mezcla de amor y odio que lo mantiene en un torbellino de emociones.
I really liked SKY ROJO for the development of the story, for the performance of the characters, especially the leading actresses, all of them very talented, each one with a different style and strength. Lali Esposito's performance as Wendy is admirable, I loved her, intelligent, tenacious and tough, but with a very noble heart; Gina inspired me tenderness for her implicit innocence, but also very determined; and Coral, a strong, intelligent woman, although sometimes she lets herself be dominated by passions and spoils the plans. As for the performances of the gentlemen, I consider them all to be extraordinary, but my favorite is Moisés (I do not forget Alberto in Velvet), it is a mixture of love and hate that keeps you in a whirlwind of emotions.

Recomiendo que vean esta serie, si les gusta la acción, las sorpresas, el toque de humor que también se disfruta aquí, entonces sé que les gustará tanto como a mí, sin desestimar que en muchas escenas la violencia y la crueldad son las protagonistas, hay que estar preparados.
I recommend that you watch this series, if you like action, surprises, the touch of humor that is also enjoyed here, then I know you will like it as much as I do, without disregarding that in many scenes violence and cruelty are the protagonists, you have to be prepared.
