Today I'll be sharing my churdhar trek experience with you all. So here we go...
Churdhar is located in Sirmaur and Shimla districts of Himachal Pradesh of the Indian state. The total covered area of this sanctuary is 56.16 square kilometres. Chur-Dhar is also known as Churi-Chandni Dhar which in English means 'Bangles of snow ridge.'
The Churdhar Peak is also mentioned in the book, The Great Arc, written by John Keay but is referred as THE CHUR.

TREK CLASSIFICATION
Churdhar Peak Trek takes you to the highest peak in the outside Himalayan range. At first there are steep trails through grassy and rocky path. From there on Easy and moderate gradients . The last part is very steep, almost vertical if the shorter route is taken. Moderate if longer route taken.
But all this is worth as Churdhar peak is an exciting trek. No doubt about it. But if you’re a first time trekker, the process of organizing a trek by yourself might get a bit overwhelming.
You trek up to an altitude of 12,000 feet. This means there is a long trail that you will have to climb. Hence, you need to make sure you are fit for the trek.
Churdhar peak is surrounded with a 56 square km forest sanctuary and home to a vast species of flora & fauna. The trek is a steep hike inside a dense Deodar forest, terraced field.
so, This trek is a bliss for Wild Life admirers, there are several species of birds that can be perceive with eyes during the Churdhar trek. Some of these birds include Himalayan monal, Indian peafowl, multi-colored laughing thrush and the koklass pheasant.
So in a nutshell this trek is very exciting. The beauty of nature all over there is threat to eyes.
