Trapped in the Museum

the apparition
nodded her head
glitched
her wax figure
likeness

being dead
is freeing
being silenced
is the drag

the view
from the sweet
ever after
goes on forever

surpasses
hindsight

20:20

dwarfs

expands
beyond
the cosmonaut's
lofty, concaved
gilded lens

ground control
where are the lines

how are we
supposed to assign
color and borders

recognize patriots
immigrants and aliens

everything blends

into itself
diversifies
mounts

towers and looms

crumbles

turns out

the ghost
is the liberated
visitor

the detached observer

it's the living
who are trapped
in the museum

The beauty of landscape is best comprehended
With a long view

Each part pales to the sum of its whole
Seeming imperfections blend perfectly
From space the earth is naught but beauty

No view is ever long enough
To take in the complete beauty of the Tao
If you see anything but beauty
Take a step back

The master does not care for perfection
He trusts only the work of the Tao is ever done
