Royal Wishes | Pinky and Spiky Drawing Contest Week 183

ps-183.jpg

Here is my entry for this week's Pinky and Spiky drawing contest!

Based on the infamous and unlikely saying by Marie Antoinette, who, when told that the peasants had no bread, replied: "Qu'ils mangent de la brioche", which means, "Then let them eat brioches." A brioche is a sweet bread, and so is often quoted as cake, as more people understand it.

However, it is important to note, she probably never said it. Attributions are guessed at several sources.
