July cometh

And just like that, the first six months of 2020 are gone...

I'm not going to get into the deep stuff, but am just going to show you some sunset shots of two evenings in the early days of July...

Let's just hope this second half of the year treats us all much better, and that we have some happier days ahead of us!

I chose these shots below as they are of two totally different scenes from the same view... from my home front window!

An almost totally red sky
And I almost didn't think of shooting it as I thought it was too flat
Not enough dramatic clouds to liven up the scene
The colour was attractive though
Hence, I finally thought, "why not"
Let's get some of these

It was late in the day
But the glow from the sun beyond the horizon, set the sky ablaze...
Even as there was rainfall in the distance
This kinda made the scene more interesting...

Ten minutes later...
Zooming into the city skyline
We have some layering of colour as a backdrop even as the Petronas Twin Towers and the KL Tower lights up for the night
For a handheld shot, I am quite pleased with the result

Some days later, we have a very different kind of sunset
Moody clouds capture interesting scenes...
Even better when the sun's rays add more drama to the mix
Sky's ablaze again... but a different kind

Black silhouettes always help enhance the scene

And this was the last visual showtime
Until the next one turns up again
